    That additional weight sure helps on the smoother landings

      Yeah, and the vertical is amazing even at 5,000ft..... it's the older set up too. Bet the new one rips!

    Great camera work!!! the audio is on point, no wind noise in the background really helps to hear what the model sounds like. Your flying was excellent as well, smooth straight lines really makes the model look scale in the air. Awesome job all!

    Sorry about your loss, my condolences to you and his family.
    I had a 6s but Freewing strikes, an elevator servo went out in me in flight, took a few nasty rolls till I couldn't fight any more. Total destruction. So I picked up an 8s today 😊. I will be changing the Aileron and elevator servos ASAP. if you see any unusual twitching in your control surfaces swap it out.

    Nicely done, sweet jet, nice flying, good all around.
    Hope you hit 1000 subs soon 😉
    Nice to see you have a win with a Freewing product. I still haven't maidened my twin 70mm SU-35, been a busy summer and had a bit of a falling out with my buddy who has the 300ft runway 😊

    Hey brother, what rates are you using? Low ? Mid ? High ? Thanks.

    • @redbeardreviewsrc
      @redbeardreviewsrc  8 місяців тому

      I only ever fly on full rates. Having too much to do as a beginner scared me, so I never set up dual rates. I just use really small movements when I fly. I also use 0 expo. That being said......This plane is VERY responsive, especially in the ailerons. I hope this helped. Thanks for watchin!

    Hey that comes with a little piece of wood that goes into the nose cone. When u put the cone on the other half of the wood goes into the fuse. That will stop that nose from coming off. I had that happen on my first raptor and it went under the belly and threw the plane into the air and rolling over. Not good!! After that I figured out what that wood piece is for! I need 8s in my raptor!!!

    • @redbeardreviewsrc
      @redbeardreviewsrc  10 місяців тому

      Have seen that on new Raptors....... I got mine used and its an early version. Not sure mine came with that option. My new Eurofighter has that same wooden piece and I did insert that one. Thanks for watching and sharing the info with the channel!

    • @mikehench8209
      @mikehench8209 10 місяців тому +1

      Check the bottom of your nose cone and see if you have the slot for the wood. You. Can just make a piece of wood to fit. Great stuff tho. Love the jets

    Brother RedBeard, finally got mine up and wow very nice, live the thrust from the 8s, not extremely fast but has the thrust in the boot. I've also flown the Eurofighter V2 with TV finally, and it's another smooth one. I did use the 6s 1900kv from the wrecked F22 makes it much nicer to fly.

      Nice, glad your maiden went well! I have the 8s Eurofighter as well review coming soon! How is the TV? I guess I'm a purest ,......I'm down with the f-22 or su-35 having vector, but gripen, eurofighter, and mig-29 don't have them in real life so not my style but I bet its fun. Thanks for letting me know about your maiden! Niiiiiiiiice!
