  • F-22 Raptor with 12-Blade Ultra Performance 8S 90mm EDF Jet from Freewing - PNP
Version Note: This is the 8S version which comes with a 90mm 12-Blade EDF 8S Power System with a 4075-1390Kv inrunner brushless motor and 150A ESC.
The F-22 Raptor is the world’s first Fifth Generation fighter, and its technology and performance continue to set the standard against which all other fighter jets are judged. The Freewing F-22 is a flying RC replica of this innovative fighter jet. Boasting both the lowest stall speed and one of the highest top speeds among all of Freewing’s jets, this super scale F-22 is capable of executing maneuvers most other EDFs can only dream of -our design team considers it a Performer and a Trainer in one!
The Freewing F-22 is available in two PNP versions. The Standard version features a 90mm EDF with an all-new 9 blade single piece impeller, 3748-1750Kv outrunner brushless motor and 130A ESC. The Deluxe 8S version features a 90mm 12 blade impeller mounted to a powerful 4075-1390Kv inrunner brushless motor and 150A HV ESC. The F-22’s maximum level airspeed exceeds 170KPH / 106MPH and 190KPH / 119MPH between the Standard and Deluxe versions, respectively.
Overall, the Freewing 90mm F-22 is a very approachable flyer and suitable for pilots moving up to their first 90mm jet from a smaller 70mm or 80mm jet. For pilots already familiar with the handling of a 90mm jet, the Freewing F-22 offers the potential to master an expanded set of realistic maneuvers.
Put stealth aside -stand out and be seen ruling the skies with your Raptor today!

Such a nice plane man! To me, your go arounds seemed to be a product of having too high of an approach speed. Glide slope angle in a real airplane is 3°-5° (descent rate of about 8-1200fpm) with a slightly nose high attitude. Try slowing your plane down a little bit more and giving yourself a little wider traffic pattern (and therefor a longer final leg) to slow down a little more. When you have the right mix of angle of attack, glide slope, airspeed, attitude and throttle the airplane should just settle on the runway without having to fight it. WAY easier said than done!!

not all pilot have the skills to fly in windy days... including me I have the same taught as you hahaha...

Same here. There comes a point where you’re fighting the wind more than actually flying and that isn’t fun for me. Add some weight to your models to make them handle wind a little better. You’ll lose a little bit of thrust to weight ratio, but that’s ok. Most of these RC planes are CRAZY overpowered and could definitely handle a little more weight. The trade off is that you have to fly more scale when your plane is heavier. Take the thrust, weight, etc of the real plane and do the math to make your scale model be within the same parameters and you’ll be amazed at how well they fly!

Thanks! He aborted 3 times and I have to stress enough to ask him to land from left to right or else the batteries will give up on us! Pheww.. he able to pull the landing....

I'm surprised he took off with a person on the runway. Good job avoiding hitting him.

We have it all planned out to have the jet take off on a very short runway… and Pilot Wan is a very professional RcPilot…
