I had experienced that trim issue. Im running the spektrum 10 channel and have it set up like yours. When i trimmed level for slower flight would roll right when i would speed up. I found the "balancing" the wing ailerons to the elevons corrected the problem. I used my digital pitch gauge and made sure the flaps and aileros where equal in angle with the bottom of the wing with the plane on its back. I had the roll trim switch only on elevons and trimmed for level flight again. It had improved it alot the first flight and i had to make small subtrim adjustments to the wing aileron a couple times and send it back up and trim elevons for level flight until it didnt have that, what i called, speed roll. Is still get a little back and forth aileron like trim issue, but i think it has to do more with how the wings droop down a little making it more sensitive to a little play in the servo or control horns. Nature of the beast i guess. Im in my second f22 and it was the exact same oddity.
I've got it mostly dialed in at this point, off camera. But we'll see how it performs with the new Hitec servo upgrades on the wings. I'm betting some of it is slop from poor stock servos.
Really nice! I am not good to speak english, I dont understand everything you told in your video! You put the power system off the eflite viper 90mm in it right? How feels the power compare the same power unit in the viper 90mm?😊

Two questions, did you ever fix that left roll? Also the plane is so nicely shaped, I was wondering you think it's possible to dead-stick land her without throttle?
It'll depend on what you're looking for in a jet. The F/A-18 is more agile than the F-22 but has a more restricted flight envelope. High alpha isn't going to be something you do with the F/A-18 - inverted is out of the question entirely. It's a more difficult airframe to fly than the F-22 but can be incredibly rewarding.
@@TwoBrosRC thanks 😊 Sounds like they’re both are very good options. I’m still learning and from what I understand the F-22 is easier and more predictable right?
Hello, John, I fly turbine models and am looking for a suitable model for the Chicoy X-45-X. I prefer agility over speed. I am deciding between the F-22 from Ffreewing and the Dessault Rafale from FMS. Which do you think is better? Thank you for answer John of the Czech Republic.
I am so torn in making a decision between this model in the 8s ultra performance configuration, and the twin 80mm Mig 29 with the thrust vectoring option. The F14 is also a close runner up due to it's legendary looks, but it's so hard to pull the trigger on any model over the next. Are you considering on getting the Freewing Mig 29 in the future to test out?
What's with all the wing rocking on landing? I set mine up stock and it lands steady as a rock...I fly in the wind all the time with my F22 as long as it is a steady wind...gusts are a different story.
Hello guys! I like your videos, but I have some suggestions (as you mentioned you are losing some views). Everyone wants to fly as amazing as you guys do, you are really great demonstrating it with the radio sticks overlay. What would be amazing is to see you guys setting up the planes in the workbench: trims, mixers, cg etc… you would the process of “flying amazing” end to end. You can even create series of videos covering the same airplane from the inception until the most advance flight stints… Keep up the great work 👍🏼👌🏼
Already did that! ua-cam.com/video/fPREX6X1U9g/v-deo.html Everything I use in this jet is demonstrated above. It was also linked in a card in the beginning. ;)
I’m surprised you prefer a CG of about 150mm back from the leading edge root. That’s what the manual recommends and I find it a little nose heavy. It’s difficult to get that slow approach with a little bit of alpha with the manual’s CG. I’ve been trying about 160mm back.
So I've just done the stupidest thing - I have never flown an rc plane before and I just ordered this (ultra model) from motion rc 😂 - now i need to figure out how to fly this.
Hopefully you wil see this comment since this is an older video., But, I figure if anyone can figure this problem out its got to be you!.. I have the FW 90mm F-22, the issue I am having is when I first plug the battery in all the gears work correctly, but when the nose gear is retracted, and I go to drop the gear, the Nose gear starts down before the gear door is open. I have checked all my connections, I have tried by-passing the blue box I have replaced the blue box, i have literally tried everything I could think of. I called MotionRC to see if they had come across that problem but they couldnt help. If I disconnect the battery while the gear is up it will work properly, but of course its unrealistic to disconnect the battery in flight. Something is messing up the sequencing. So again, 1. when battery is connected and gear is dropped, the door opens first as it should, 2. then when the gear is retracted, it functions correctly, but then 3. when I go to cycle the gear again to drop down, the nose gear starts down first and forces open the gear doors. Hope you can solve this thank you
@@TwoBrosRC not sure how I would do that, do you mean move them with my hand without the battery plugged in? and thank you for getting back to me so soon
@@flyjets305 No, we mean specifically setting up the gear so that they're sequenced in the radio. Our setup guide should cover this to some extent: ua-cam.com/video/fPREX6X1U9g/v-deo.html
@@TwoBrosRC I have a very simple radio .- the flysky fs-i6 it works great for me. but i will look at the link you sent and see if that will help, thank you
@@TwoBrosRC so I'm looking at your link about the gear sequence, and 1. you are using a spektrum radio, that obviously can do this, also, you say you have by passed the blue box. So I do not believe my radio will be capable of doing this , unfortunately, as I see in your video that you were also able to make the gear retract much quicker, which would be nice to do..
Don't understand how you are losing viewers!. Just found your channel and joined because it is the most informative and technically interesting video series for the type of r.c. aircraft I like to fly. Keep making these videos!.👍
@@TwoBrosRC It depends on the brand you use. It was already done in another jet (Rafale by FMS) (WEMOTEC Germany) and brought more thrust. The cross section of 2x64mm is slightly higher than 1x90.
That's an odd take considering the F-22 is considered one of the most aerobatic full scale fighters out there. There's very little of what was done here that it can't do, so most of this would be considered scale flying - there's more to "scale" than just flying in circles.

Thanks 🙏🏻
It'll depend on what you're looking for in a jet. The F/A-18 is more agile than the F-22 but has a more restricted flight envelope. High alpha isn't going to be something you do with the F/A-18 - inverted is out of the question entirely. It's a more difficult airframe to fly than the F-22 but can be incredibly rewarding.
@@TwoBrosRC thanks 😊
Sounds like they’re both are very good options. I’m still learning and from what I understand the F-22 is easier and more predictable right?
It's much easier and more predictable to fly. Absolutely.
@@TwoBrosRC sounds good :)
Does it have thrust vectoring on this RC model?
Nope, but it'd be nice if it did.
Hello, John,
I fly turbine models and am looking for a suitable model for the Chicoy X-45-X. I prefer agility over speed. I am deciding between the F-22 from Ffreewing and the Dessault Rafale from FMS. Which do you think is better? Thank you for answer
John of the Czech Republic.
Hi John, neither is better but the Rafale is definitely more capable of high alpha flight. It's really just a personal choice.
How do you get both ailerons to go up to slow on landing?
It's in our setup guide.
Definitely, but it's really expensive and requires a lot of mods. It'll be something we get way down the line.
Is this something you can buy online and have it delivered???
Yes, MotionRC.com
Is it the rudders the commands the roll?
No, the ailerons and stabilators.
What's with all the wing rocking on landing? I set mine up stock and it lands steady as a rock...I fly in the wind all the time with my F22 as long as it is a steady wind...gusts are a different story.
It happens.
Could you do this for the al37? Love the content!
It's not meant to be an aerobatic jet, but we have posted landing tutorials for it.
You can even create series of videos covering the same airplane from the inception until the most advance flight stints… Keep up the great work 👍🏼👌🏼
Already did that!
ua-cam.com/video/fPREX6X1U9g/v-deo.html
Everything I use in this jet is demonstrated above.
We probably misspoke, we prefer flying at 165mm.
@@TwoBrosRC Great! I will try that tomorrow
I keep expecting to hear the weird BINGO buzz noise from AC3
BULLS EYE
3:25 there is an apache in the distance
🚁
You have to try turbine jets at this point.
I wish I had the money laying around to invest the several thousand dollars needed to start!
@@TwoBrosRC Me too. It’s extremely expensive 😩
So I've just done the stupidest thing - I have never flown an rc plane before and I just ordered this (ultra model) from motion rc 😂 - now i need to figure out how to fly this.
Good luck, you're gonna need it!
thanks for the encouragement lol@@TwoBrosRC
Can you all make a tutorial on flying the avios C 130?
We don't have that model yet, so unfortunately we can't.
Where can we buy this plane?
RC-Castle.com
Do you fly in mode 2?
Whichever the US standard is
@@TwoBrosRC mode 2 probably. Thrust and rudder on left ; elevator and ailerons on right side.
Hope you can solve this thank you
We see every comment regardless of how old the video is. Did you sequence the gear manually?
Will do, thank you!
Agreed
hi why the name change?
I went over it in a post, but Tony and I are brothers-in-law and best friends. It only made sense.
Too bad that two 64mm EDF were not installed. That would have been more real and the sound would have been better with 12 blades each.
Two 64mm wouldn't be as powerful as the 12b 90mm we're using.
@@TwoBrosRC It depends on the brand you use. It was already done in another jet (Rafale by FMS) (WEMOTEC Germany) and brought more thrust. The cross section of 2x64mm is slightly higher than 1x90.
I don't mind mindless babble
No way to fly a scale model, just stick to gut-wrenching 3D planes to show off your RC skill.
That's an odd take considering the F-22 is considered one of the most aerobatic full scale fighters out there. There's very little of what was done here that it can't do, so most of this would be considered scale flying - there's more to "scale" than just flying in circles.
Man this resembles a boring episode of National Geographic with those lame voice overs..doesn’t seem natural sounds like you’re reading off a script…we love the as you fly babbling it’s more natural funny and interesting my boiii
Sorry you feel that way, but I'm not changing back to the original format for tutorial content.
