Christian themed lyrics. I'm very impressed it's been that way for years.

Where did you get this video from??

That’s Flavor Fest… A HipHop Music Conference that was held yearly at Crossover church in Tampa with head pastor Urban D aka Tommy. This was the 1st Flavor fest…

@@ReinaldoCrespo right, but this video isn’t included on any of the Flavor Fest DVD sets that were released back in the day, and I was curious where he got this because it looks like it would’ve been filmed around the same time as the first DVD set

Thanks for the insight. Had no idea. Do you have a UA-cam link to the original flavor fest footage? Maybe if it wasn’t posted in the DVD most likely had to do with copyright due to Mars Ill using a lot of samples in their music that possibly weren’t cleared.

That’s the only thing I could find on UA-cam - and the only reason I doubt that is because this looks to be professionally edited as if it were meant for release so I don’t think samples would’ve been an issue 🙏

This was from a TV segment from back in the day. Recorded straight to VHS. I think it was called Steelroots but they had a different name for the Christian Hip-Hop portion of the show.
