I would just like to let you know I've had a similar experience . I got hurt real bad in found myself in a beautiful circle I could take one hand and put it through the other hand I did not kill nobody because of my accident I left my body and found myself in front of a beautiful light that spoke to me it said I'm going to give you the breath of air back no sooner it was sad I was back in my body and in pain but I lived that happened to me when I was 13 years old I am 66 now at the time my time was to come back and finish my life I've had five kids six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren if I had passed away none of them would be here today there is a God and I believe in him. He gave me a second chance of life.

Teleportation is the hypothetical transfer of matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them. It is a common subject in science fiction literature, film, video games, and television. Teleportation is often paired with time travel, being that the travelling between the two points takes an unknown period of time, sometimes being immediate.

Trivia note: the actor playing the somewhat "demonic" preacher, Martin Benson, played another strange character---an alien visitor----in the '58 British film THE STRANGE WORLD OF PLANET X (known as THE COSMIC MONSTER in the States). An interesting actor. At the beginning of this episode he had sort of a "Dracula" demeanor/probably could've made a good vampire-like character if such a role had been offered to him. (For a brief flash I thought, improbably, that he was american actor Gabe Dell, who used to do a great Dracula impersonation on the old Steve Allen night Westinghouse show in the early 1960's.) Well, so much for trivia and observations. This was a very well done episode I thought, (altho that famous OSB "haunting" theme music was used more sparingly than in previous episodes, surprisingly).

Thank you for sharing this episode that I had never seen. I have two DVD sets, though neither contain this episode. Apparently, none of these sets have all of the three seasons, so this is why I have not seen most of these episodes from the third season. I attempted to investigate all of the episodes I have watched, including the first which was based on the Maria Talarico possession that occurred in Catanzaro, Italia. Mr. Newland claimed that all of the episodes were based on factual incidents. Unfortunately, the writers of OSB adapted and rewrote these stories from the original incidents, so it is difficult to locate the actual factual events since almost everything's been changed, including the real names and dates ! Except for a few episodes e.g. where the actual individuals were present when Mr. Newland interviewed them. Does anyone actually know all the real stories that were used as the basis for each OSB drama episode ? All the best, Ken

How Green Was My Valley of course is about Wales and their miners. It looked like it could have been filmed in Wales, but, alas, it was all filmed in Hollywood! So, I should think that this episode was also filmed in Hollywood since it is an American program. How Green Was My Valley was filmed in the 1940s and One Step Beyond was filmed in the late fifties into the early sixties! If you do not believe this, then always remember: "GOOGLE" is your friend, do an internet search!!!

One Step Beyond claims that all its stories were based on historical fact. The "fact" being the claims of those involved. My guess is that some were true while others may have been convenient lies. From paying attention to the narration and presentation I believe that the way in which the stories have been presented dramatizes/embellishes to make them more other worldy than they may have been. Maybe not all but it was quite noticeable on a few. I wish more people would listen more critically to the news as well. Making note of the difference between assertions, suppositions and facts, as well as, being able to notice when clarifying and contextual information has been left out.

Another thrilling episode of this series that I love. But be wary of its claims to reflect real, reported psychic phenomena. There is no such place in Wales as Llandefni, and Cardiff Gaol was closed long before the time period of this episode. The claim of 'genuine paranormal events' was a fabrication, to increase viewing figures.
