Some Steely Dan would be awesome

There doesn't exist a universe where you're paying this drummer enough. Fucking phenomenal!
Totalmete verdad. Excepcional!!
Just recorded well, nothing special about his playing
@@GerardVosme pasaré tu desmerecer por los 🥚 Y lo afirmo, el trabajo del baterista es excepcional, maravilloso!!
He plays and sounds really good, just gotta control his feet a little on pocket sections!

That drummer just adds so much energy. Imagine having this band at your party.
*MEMORIES*
It was VERY COOL being 20 in the 70's...
Its *NOT* so great being 70 in the 20's...
But old rockers never die!
I see what you did there, you guys gave us the best culture, music... Have a good one sir.
Well said!
I was in high school in the late 70's. Seems like yesterday, and at the same time an eternity ago. I'm 60 now. Where did the time go????? My own son has grey hair now. 😂
@@chellejack3480your son has grey hair and he's only 40?
@@andrewdiprose I was grey before I was 30
The drummer is out there leading a lot - then pulls back and hits the pocket perfectly. Killer work guys!
Thanks for taking my advice adding in Baker Street for the sax 😅. How about long train running by the doobie brothers? Very funky song and lively. You guys can really make any song better. 👍
S2😊😊a2
Drummer is a metronome! Simply amazing
Yups man, this drummer is unbelievable, and this band is my all time favorite.they are a blast to listen to.❤
Felix Lehrmann on Drums! 🥁🐐
The band is so tight. Drummer is immense. So good as usual. Thank you for sharing your talents.
I have to say that transition into Baker Street gave me chills. I was literally applauding at the TV. Another epic set Martin and the Band.
Agree! Utterly perfect transition. I was struck by it too..
Dave Ramsey would be proud!
😅😅😅😅😅😅
😅😅
That harmonized solo in staying alive is awesome!!!!
When the bass player also starts singing… his low voice has the same smoothness as the bass intro ❤
The drummer is just out of this world !!!🙏
Felix is pretty special...
That twin guitar solo in "Stayin' Alive"... that performance of "Hold The Line" and "Another Brick In The Wall"... that groove in "September"... Amazing medley, can't wait for the next! 😍👍
That has got to be one of the best performances I’ve come across on UA-cam. I grew up listening to every single one of the songs you guys played and they were all performed flawlessly by your band. Music has to move me otherwise I just switch off. This performance just blew the roof off. Thank you so much.
That Gerry Rafferty track hit so hard. City to City is probably my favorite album of the 70s.
Incredible musicians right there. The drummer stands out.
OMG, each and every single one of you are brilliant. The cameras that single out all of the talent are...they're just no words. When you segwade into Pink Floyd, I nearly broke into tears.
I'm 100% disabled and I'm on some seriously heavy meds. Listening and watching and singing along made me COMPLETELY forget my pain.
Thank you so much for this 💗
I'm going to look and see if you guys did anything by the Eagles ❤
Thank you for sharing this, Tammy. All the best to you!
Greets,
Martin.
That solo on Staying Alive was incredible.
The sound on this is utterly immense. Especially the drums
Imagine how much better it would have sounded if the drummer didn’t try to overplay.
@@remoevans7847 shut up, if he overplays it's because Martin probably asks him to do some of that. Also he is not actually overplaying and he's a beast of a drummer.
@@EliseoCaporale My mistake, I didn’t realize you had a man crush. 🤡
@@remoevans7847 and what's the problem with having a man crush?
@@EliseoCaporale He IS overplaying. Dude needs some lessons in being PART of the band, not the star.
To take a bee gees song and do a double harmony solo like that, it's really great. The good thing about these midleys is that they always bring something new, they are not just covers. 👍
Yeah that was sick. Truly awesome❤
I think I died during that solo and I’m in heaven now wow
As I get older I listen more to all the little subtleties in music. As I listen to you all, the vocal, lead guitar, rhythm, base, drums, then you broke out the brass. I tried to pick a favorite to praise. COULD-NOT-DO-IT! You all are flipping TIGHT! I was totally entertained. You tore it up! Many praises to you all 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My bad, I can’t believe I forgot to mention Keys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
whoever recorded, and mixed this needs a fkn raise... not to mention the musical talent
The bassist has very nice vocal……and the whole members are just brilliant!
Boy don’t got frosted tips; his head’s glazed in bleach!
Bass line goes hard on these! Awesome job!
Of all videos that premiere daily on my UA-cam subscription feed from various channels, none elicit greater anticipation from me than a Martin Miller Medley. The high end instrumental work, and the unique interpretation/arrangement of these classics by Miller's team, is why this ensemble ranks leagues above other cover bands on UA-cam. This 70s Medley demonstrates this in spades.
The drum sounds out of this world
I’d have to say that Baker Street was my favorite, but then again the transition into September is masterful! Felix’s drums/cymbals are fantastic not to mention his playing! Thank you for posting these! Wherever you take us next I am certain will be out of this world!
Anyone who can go from Kiss to the Bee Gees has to be the best group of arrangers and musicians I've ever witnessed. Martin's falsetto was perfect, and Ben's vocals are equally incredible now as well.
I’m a muso and Knife Craftsman from South Africa. I learnt from the Martin Miller band during the big plague pandemic.
I would just like to say the transitions between songs, cord progressions, musical abilities and muso’s are some of the best in the world!!🔥🔥
It is so evident that all of you paid your dues by carrying equipment and spending weeks and months on the road.
Please don’t ever stop with what you are doing!! I wish the whole world can listen to your music just because anyone that have just a little bit music in them will understand that you are making a huge difference in the world of music!!!
The medley began by sounding like a Pink Floyd intro, and then surprise, it was a KISS psych out. Baker Street was a nice song to include, it’s so ‘70’s.
How the hell do you play the bass line and sing September by Earth Wind & Fire at the same time?! That's sorcery! Well done, sir!
And a Five string as well.👍👌🇮🇲
dude that build at 9:13 and the sax solo into the guitar solo. unreal. you guys rock
Felix’s kit is one of the best sounding kits I’ve heard. So clean. Tuning is crisp. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Sound goes from the hand 🤪
Whoever recorded and mixed this is the bomb. Fantastic work by everyone involved
Let us all come together to once and for all acknowledge the objective truth that the 70's is the undisputed GOAT of eras in modern music. It ain't even close!
This crew absolutely does it justice too. Incredible stuff, guys!
Michal Shulski absolutely killed it on the sax!! that was so mesmerising to watch.
It’s crazy to think that these songs will turn 50 within this decade. Great work like always guys
Drummer is insane. His transitions are awesome then hits the pocket and the groove is on!!
BTW Mr. Miller loved your solo over that short track on that different channel.
Im gonna tune my metronomes for drummer
Some of the greatest musicians playing some of the greatest music of all time. Thank you! Makes me feel so good!
I was wondering why Ben wasn't singing yet, and it came SEPTEMBER! lol WOW! you guys make me smile and be happy! Thank you for doing this for our eyes and ears! bravo Martin!!!! amazing. Pink Floyd was my favorite!
Fantástico!!! Nunca me canso de escuchar tus medleys!!! Saludos desde Argentina ❤
⭐⭐⭐
Todos os dias eu escuto as canções do MM. São fantásticas
THANK YOU FOR CHEERING ME UP!
I LOVE YOUR MEDLEY VIDEOS!!!!
GREAT TO SEE YOU ALL THRIVING!!!
As for me, Baker Street and that Sax composing with all of you. What a gem!
These are the most fun to watch and the band is always terrific. I think Martin gets the award for most improved vocals over the course of these releases. Very well done!
No doubt he was Gettin it on baker street
This band is absolutely awesome like how the drummer is killing it
Oh, my God!!! Martin Miller did it again. What a great medley!!! The band is awesome, with a young Brian May on guitars. As I read in another comment, the best part of your covers/medleys is that we always can find your touch and vision, it´s not a simple cover, always appers a jewel in the middle. What a great musicians!!! I love your channel.
OMG!!! Guys this was so amazing to watch and listen to!! So so sooo good! You guys are truly great musicians! Thanks for sharing!
Another great job guys! Sending you here a symbolic thank you form Brazil!
Staying Alive Double solo was EXCELLENT. BRAVO !!!!!!!!. Love all the musicianship. The Drums are grooving. The bass and sonic offering is Amazing. LOVE how you vocally made the songs your own while maintaining the original melody. Lets see what else. Oh yes. THANK YOU for your hard word, the production and video is top notch.
You guys are all great but that drummer is killing it!
- fellow drummer
And he’s a lefty!
I can't believe what you've just made. Amazing! That sax my friend!!
Ben's vocals...*chef's kiss*
Martin's solos...😯
Felix' drumming...💯
Harmonies between the guitars and Baker Street with sax! Really gave me some goosebumps with this one! The medleys just keep getting more and more amazing; absolutely love it 🤘
Love that the bass is turned up in the mix and I can really enjoy it
You guys are one of the few good things left in my sad little world. Thank you so much.
Give Michal a raise, he always nails iconic sax parts.
He was awesome but he fluffed the intro of baker street
@@Hello_there_obi could it be because of copyright reasons that it's a bit different?
@@KevinToine fluffing some notes and playing different notes are two very different things. So no I don’t think that’s the case.
Marius looks like a true Bee Gee
I didn't think their make up was very good for KISS
You guys make the world a better place! Thanks for a great musical experience, as always...
Oh man, how did I miss that medley. OMG, Bee Gees was so brilliant. Thanks 👍
this is phenomenal!!! every cover was beyond amazing! the vocal, the instruments, the arrangement... phenomenal!!!
Freunde, das ist endgeil!!! Selten so ein starkes Medley gesehen und gehört!!!
That guitar duet in 'Staying Alive'! Talk about tight. So in sync with one another. Excellent job
what a talented group of musicians top to bottom! Thank you!
Meh.. need to lose the singing on Staying Alive... sounded off... can't pull off the high.. don't even try!
So much groove in that drummer! Great, as always!
Mike Stoklasa killing it on drums.
I think his name is Felix. 🤷♂️
😂😂😂😂😂... He's Felix Lehrmann.
@@PsyphaX09 Whoosh
You guys are all great and all! but this drummer is out of this world!
the sound quality of this video?! Damnnnn!!
Great idea giving one of my favorite drummers, Felix, a fantastic intro. Great medley as always!
It's fantastic how you turned the bridge into a solo on the Kiss track.
Loving the guitar harmonies on "Stayin Alive"
Felix is killing it on the intro to "Baker Street". Michael's tenor sax tone is gorgeous with plenty of grit, great extended solo on this one too. Wow!
One of my favorite tracks from Toto, I waited a long time to record this one off the radio after calling the request line! Fantastic solo on this one, Martin, with some nods to Steve Lukather's brilliant work. Amazing jazz-tinged solo by Marius on the keys and a stunning transition back to the chorus!
Taking on the amazing EW&F with an A+ vocal by the multi-talented Ben. Lots of funk on the bass here too. This is probably my favorite cover here. Thoroughly enjoyable with great solos by Martin and Michal!
...And an abrupt transition to Floyd with a great vocal by Martin.
Into "Another Brick" with some excellent funky rhythm playing by Jens and a masterful and very Gilmour-influenced take on one of David's most famous solos.
And finally, into "Music" with a beautiful piano intro. I'm not familiar with this track but I absolutely enjoyed it and it rounds out another wonderful medley by Martin and company.
Outstanding!
That transition to chorus in Hold the line is actually lifted from Toto's live shows, I think they played it as an ending. Can't point out the exact version but I know I heard it before.
Gracias Totales!!!! Maravillosa sesión! Un homenaje para una generación que todavía canta, baila, ama y disfruta de la buena música. Genios! Un abrazo enorme desde la ciudad de Buenos Aires! 💟🎉🙌🎹🎸🎵🌎👏👏👏👏
Martin and his friends did it again! Excellent musicalization! Greetings from Paraguay.
Wow, just wow!!! Goosebumps
ABSOLUTELY UNREAL! Incredible musicianship 😮
QUE PEDRADA... Melhor medley de todos os tempos... SENSACIONAL!!!🎉🎉🎉
You should do a special “We Are The World” with all the UA-cam musicians. It would be amazing and memorable!
That was just awesome visceral and live, no separate booths just a bunch of guys looking and knowing the chord changes etc. just a very enjoyable experience
LOL....that transition from KISS to Bee Gees! That's one giant leap right there. Had to replay that one a couple times. Amazing as always. True to the originals but with some new flavor mixed in.
Música de verdad!!!!! No la porquería que se oye ahorita!!! Mil felicitaciones y sigan así. Desde Venezuela🎸
La gente en la década del 70 decía lo mismo que ud.
incredible!!! The compilations you make get better every day, my skin crawls... Greetings from Argentina
That keyboardist is one of the best in the world
Once again, the MM Band does it to perfection! This is a fantastic medley, and just like the others y'all have done, this one was incredible! Had a blast listening to some of the greats from the 70s!
The musicianship is amazing, to say the least! And Martin's vocals and guitar work were spot on! Along with Ben, Felix, and Marius, including their guest players, Jens and Michal, this whole line-up was fantastic! You guys are, to put it simply, THE BEST!
Se você é Br 🇧🇷 e tbm é viciado nesses medleys do MM curte aqui.
❤
Sou BR
MM Band é pika demais! (Comentário sem tradução kkk)
Os caras são fodas demais
PO NEM ME FALA IRMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely amazing, as always. Everyone in this band gets to shine in these medleys ❤
You guys are brilliant and this put a huge smile on my face! You are all fantastic musicians and I do appreciate the effort that goes into this. You better start working on 1960's now right....pleasssseeeee!
What a delight! Gonna hit the replay button a few times. So energizing. I would love to see you live, it must be something. I have to catch up with what Ben has been up too, seeing him play and sing like that always makes me want to pick up my bass again. Also, outstanding vocals. And that last "my music pulls me through" by Martin, with one breath... it gave me chills. Fantastic medley through and through, congrats everyone involved.
the bassist is such a fantastic vocalist
That was absolutely delightful to listen to. Your drummer is awesome. My dad (RIP) was a drummer. You can see the relationship he has with his drum kit and knows and can feel exactly which piece to hit without hesitation and key precision. Love the sax in Baker Street as well. Kudos to everyone for a great job of classic hits!
I was missing the Session Band. Thank you for another 25 minutes of pure joy.
Musical greetings from Portugal.
It's so incredible to see how much you guys respect the melody at all levels. The right notes in the right time. Nobody trying to show-off over the others. This is the greatest level of musicianship I've ever seem, not only on this video, but in all of your videos Martin! You inspire me in so many levels.
Except that they half assed I was made for loving you
@@jefflitchfield4950 well tbf they half assed most songs. That was the least energy Hold the Line cover I could imagine, which is a pity because they are talented. It just seems not enough rehearsed and not mixed well.
Yes!! After those 80s and 90s medleys long time ago, finally you did 70s! My favourite era, thank you so much! Wonderful musicianship as always 👍
The guitar solos are FANTASTIC
I was born 86, but I spent my childhood listening these songs from Dad. Awesome, truly brings back memories.
This is musicianship at its finest !🤘🏻
Top demais. Saudações do Brasil.
Great!!!! Thank you . Danke!!!
Thr amount of talent in this gathering is beyond words can describe. Thank you for the efforts guys and keep uo the good wor. Much LOVE ❤ from Morocco🇲🇦
Some sensational Seventies sounds brought to us in yet another marvelous musical masterpiece by these magnificent musos. Nice to meet you, Jens Ambrosch. Thank you guys. 🎶🎤🎻🎷🎹🥁
MMG's ultimate medleys MAKE this world a better place one note at a time. Thank you MMG. 😊
All the musicians are incredible! But that drummer is on another level! Fire
This is insanely well done. Best thing I've seen in a while. Great job!
I love your nostalgic medleys, thank you so much, you guys all are super talented!
AMOOOO MUUUITOOO!! 🤩🤩 Brazil here!
Baker street is one of the most iconic songs of the 80’s
That was the 70s, son. That’s why it’s in this video.
