An option for OPD is exactly what's needed. You don't like it? Fine, don't use it but there should be an option somewhere for the rest of us who aren't EV learners.

Switching from a Merc. Porsche also make great sport cars, this car is no exception especially when you need to overtake someone along a straight run or brake suddenly - well done to all the Design and Engineering teams involved here.
I have driven several EV's over my 12 year ownership, the efficiency has always remained the same whether using OPD or merely coasting. Considering that it is a software enabled function, and how much Porsche charge for their cars, this should be an option that owners can have. I do know that Porsche argue that coasting is desirable on a track, but how many people really care about that?
Drive slow and reduce comfort to low to save energy... That's not the point to buy a Porsche! I could buy a Toyota prius you know...I could live longer without smoke alchol drugs top speed, what a boring life! Plus not guarantee.
Worst point about the car. Not one single mode that gives one pedal driving. Auto regen is fine providing you keep a big gap to the car in front otherwise the car fights you all the time. There's also no indication how much regen on the brake pedal is going to the battery and how much to brake discs. Complete mess. Do better Porsche. Worst part of the car after the total quatsch that is the charging timer/modes mess.

This is so good, the best regenerative braking, way more natural and intuitive than one pedal braking.
