I followed your advice and filed about three different claims. The one I went to a VSO To file in 2020 got me from 40% to 80%. Then I filed three time's since then. Today I got me 100%. Thank God for your help Jason.
C&P exams are a trip. You never know. I took all my paper work with me and I made notes in a black sharpie for my reference. I made sure that I did ask if he had all the paper work that I sent in to the VA. He said yes. He did ask me if I had a certain document and I did and he reviewed it and then found it. He also asked to look at my notes that I had made as side notes.
I would. You may get $1,700 tax free monthly the rest of your life. Play their game. If you died in combat they don't care about you. Plus, illegals are getting paid. joey biden is flying illegals in all over America and placing them all around our country. SAMMY CAN PAY MY ASS !!
What are the steps or link to upload documents for Va records and or c&p exam? Feel so clueless, my VSO at the time was new at his job and he submitted for my PTSD increase (I’m at 30%) I got No Guidance as to what to expect, what a DBQ was, the rating scale, nothing!! So thankful for you both in sharing your expertise and knowledge to help Veterans with the ‘next tour of duty’ - that’s what it feels like going for disability claims😝
Imagine getting diagnosed on active duty for PTSD (and red flagged as high risk), Migraines, Gerd and Rheumatoid Arthritis (which led to a med board prior to my retirement this last year in 2023) and getting rated 0% for all of them… no matter what the hell u do, this whole process is a f*****g joke.. and this is with a great VSO… and we wonder why our suicide rate is where it is for veterans… while I appreciate these videos and your willingness to help others, there is nothing u can do when shit examiners are evaluating you. I’m very versed with CFR 38, my DBQs etc.. but it doesn’t matter when a contractor doesn’t do their damn job
That's why I always say the most important thing when filing a strong claim w legitimate medical evidence, is getting lucky a good rater. If you got Service connected for all those issues at least you won that battle, now you can file for increases and don't have prove service connection. I know it's a pain o had to file multiple times for the same claims until I finally won them. Don't give up the fight.
whats your guys opinion that I should do; seems its hard for me to get nexus for my plantar fasciitis and trigger finger. My MOS was 0331 mahinegunner USMC. 1990-1994 and USMCR 1996-1999 artilery unit.
I have a diagnosis of GERD with my ear nose and throat doctor but I don't have a Nexus and I don't think he'll give me one. And the new rating comes out in a month and a half
Put in an Intent to File. You'll then have a year to find a doctor that will write the nexus letter for you. Ask for a copy of your records from your ENT. That will contain your diagnosis. You may have to go to one of the claims sharks for find the right doctor, but it might be worth it. You will still need something to connect it to your service, either as a primary disability or secondary to some other primary claim.
I meet with my ENT in two weeks to get the nexus done. Filed for intent back in December. Big one for me is getting the medical records. Freedom of information request has already been submitted but is showing as ‘evidence gathering’. Schedule of ratings shows Asthma as 100% with FEV1 less than 40%. Mine is 35.6%. It should be an easy claim. Yes, I know, famous last words.
I’d say reach out to the contracted company and ask that question. Worst case scenario, take a copy and ask them if they have the information. If not ask them if they would like a copy.
I simply took evidence I submitted with each claim to the CP exam with me. As we went through each condition I offered that evidence. She loved it, so she didn’t have to sift through what VA sent her. Also make sure you fill out any questionnaire the company sends you prior to exam, they really appreciate that also.
I have a diagnosis for Asthma, Nexus from my doctor, PFT test results showing FEV1 of 35.8%, DBQ, Lay statement and buddy statements, personal statement. I am waiting for medical records from when I was in service. Once I get my medical records to show when I went on sick leave, multiple times, for breathing issues while working in Field Station Kenia, I will submit for Asthma. I also have Gerd that started while I was in service but feel that one may be harder to prove. I have been out since 1993, and consistently have been sick with either recurring sinusitis or a cough since leaving Hawaii. I believe the Asthma should get me to 100% P&T so I likely will not need to file for Gerd.
If you have any TERA exposure, you can use that angle for GERD. No presumptive, but an option. If you were at Field Station Kunia, the first Google search is a VA link citing potential health risk associated with FKS due to soil and water contamination.
@@DM-wl6bv Thank you sir. This information is very helpful. I believe I will have my fully developed claim in by the end of this month. Now it will just be a few more months, (and months, and months…😨) to a decision.

Should you give the c&p info your personal/buddy/lay statements along with your evidence?
Yeah, I have the same question.
Yes but the VA needs the info also.
You should try to give any copies of proof because no guarantee they can see your records, but they don't have to accept them that's the bad part.
Excellent video guys, great info, truth!
My VSO wanted me to file for PTSD. I told him no, the military will never get in my head again !! 🏴☠️

I started to prepare for all of my VA appointments.

Itf, submit if denied for no nexus then pay
Type it up anyway. I typed it up myself and got approved based on TERA and a couple medications I was given in service.
So how do you upload your evidence to a cp examiner ?
I’d say reach out to the contracted company and ask that question. Worst case scenario, take a copy and ask them if they have the information. If not ask them if they would like a copy.

@@T-Sim Good advice! So far, two C&P exams went well when I brought the evidence that I was also submitting to the VA.

Do you fall under the pact act?
Unfortunately, no

Evidence. Upload va.gov, upload cnp company, and take a copy
