    I manage the drug & alcohol compliance program for a very large company with over 2000 CDL drivers. We have used the Clearinghouse since implementation in Jan 2020. This is an extremely valuable tool to screen applicants who are trying to conceal a past drug or alcohol violation. Also with a comprehensive random testing program you keep your drivers clean and honest, the bottom line is if you as a driver value your job then stop using illegal substances, period. There is no leeway because a certain substance is legal in some states, you do not need to be under the influence of any substance while you are operating a commercial vehicle at all. The return-to-duty process is straightforward with easy step-by-step actions that must be taken before you can resume driving, does it take effort on your part to complete the return-to-duty process, yes it does, but guess what it’s your fault that you got the violation, no one else made that decision for you. If you break the law and endanger lives there are consequences. The Clearinghouse is an excellent tool to help keep the roads safe for everyone

    Full of shit and fear mongering looks like an agents for foreign actor drivers and russian lease purchase companies. These drivers have been grounded a long time ago and most 90% wont be rehired even if they complete return to duty status because sap drivers are blackballed. This is an excuse to cause panic and hire foreign actors, thus driving rates down even further because they work for peanuts. It is industry wide practice to blackball sap drivers even after completing a clean return to duty test, the only option is to lease on with super ego or another russian or serbian slave wage company. Tell the truth and say that they haven't been on the road and if they complete the return to duty process they won't be rehired by anyone except for a shady lease company that will steal money from them. Out of all those drivers in the clearinghouse, 90 percent are done trucking whether they finish the process or not.

    For a owner-operator of one single dump truck. Does he have to go through this entire process also?

    This is a good way to make sure no one drives a truck again. Government talks as if this works it doesn't cause no one knows how to do the return to duty process. So employers just fire someone one instead of letting them do the return to duty process. Then cause no one knows what to do due to Government's lack of education to employers. This is just another way for them to make more money and have more control under the guise of safety.

      The return-to-duty process is very easy to understand, no one needs training to grasp the concept

    I know a driver that never smoked or did any drugs. Tried Cbd supplement to relax on his 34 hour rest from a stressful work week. And was fired after working 12 years and never failed a drug test til now. He also bought the supplement out of a truck stop for crying out loud.

      Everyone who gets “popped” for a positive drug test says I never smoked or did drugs, everyone without fail says the same thing

      You can’t do a drug test from 3 years ago, that’s impossible, what you said doesn’t make sense

    Respectfully; I think you guys are messing up., as the united states already has a driver shortage.. marijuana should be legalized, as it's basically legal all around the country. It's inhaled and could get into your system if people around you are using.; if a person does it on personal time, a month later it's still in your blood should be controlled. If you keep trying to pursue marijuana I think you will be shut down and a new concept or program will come into place.

      Marijuana doesn’t stay in your blood for 30 days, unless you are smoking every day

    If you have a prescription that's 6 months old the cleaning house will not take it

    • @WilliamTaylor-e3d
      @WilliamTaylor-e3d 12 годин тому

      This is not true, and it is the Clearinghouse not the cleaning house. They have nothing to do with prescription medication

      @bradleyharding4512 12 годин тому

      @WilliamTaylor-e3d yes they do if you have a prescription that's over 6months old and it a controlled and you take a drug test you fail because it happened to me last year
