Aww. Everyone’s mean about Isaac but I honestly just think he’s just a bit socially awkward, which I think is okay ! Plus he owns his own ice cream place so he knows what he’s talking about. Ice cream is something he’s passionate about and sure he’s awkward but I’m glad he gets to experience these things
owning something has nothing to do with having knowledge of it... he didn't know how to work a soft serve machine... he has no skill when it comes to actually making ice cream...
ayitian1 you’re really going to call someone a potential serial killer just because they’re a bit socially awkward? Wow god forbid you’re publically broadcasted with your slights brought to light

Funny? Ehh quite predictable really... Also throwing things on regular soft serve is not impressive compared to the others making it from scratch or the Chinese girls decorating skill
Nah, he's just like that in person. I had their ice cream back when they just had a food truck. They were both joking with the customers. He has an awesome personality!
This may be a recurring theme in the series -- have you seen the "Italians Do It Better" episode? It ends with a very flirty interaction between Isaac and a pastry chef.
Amazing concept that family did to help others in need and get people working, just incredible to help the community like that and motivate people to work.

Seeing Helado's bring back such memories.. Then Eddie's Sweet Shop and how they've kept it the same with everything being handmade brought a huge smile to my face.. Every now and then UA-cam gives you a gem..
I wish there was more ice cream shops like this around. There so rare and far in between. To have that classic all American diner feel ice cream place. With the fudge Sundays and seltzer chocolate and the glass cups with cherry on top
Isaac is really sweet and really cute and interested as a host, but he’s slightly awkward, and I feel bad- mostly because I’d act exactly the same. Interviewing someone in this capacity is hard and I’d be even weirder in this situation.
jlopez1017d A lot of these segments they’ve already uploaded months ago. Like the first segment, I remember watching back in like September. It must’ve been filmed in July or August judging based off of how people were dressing.
@sookableh oh I've been around the last year or so! I guess you could call all the bad dad jokes and puns a little guerrilla marketing for my new cooking channel 😁
It's a clash of style -- he's a laid back Californian in NYC. He's not as polished as Frank from the pizza show, but still entertaining. In his favor, he's a trained chef who works in the ice cream industry and not just some random host from munchies.
In NYC, whenever I see Mr. Softee around mid March, it means spring time is coming. Ice cream time!!! I LOVE Isaac! I've watched all the ice cream videos with him on it. I first saw him filming at Bassets ice cream inside Reading Market, PA. I traveled all the way from NYC to just was to just try their eat ice cream and get Amish goodies too of course 😂
I used to live down the block from eddies sweet shop. It is maybe the best ice cream place in ever. Nothing over the top or fancy about the place. I always get a scoop of chocolate ice cream with warmer homemade butterscotch and homemade whipped cream along with their homemade coke cola. The owners i supper nice and I even had a b day cake from them when I was really young. Anyone who lives in NY has got to go their!
Delicioso Coco Helado...what a wonderful idea! I'm not a New Yorker and have never had this, but I'd be all over it if it were available in my hometown. Such a lovely social support system! Honestly, all of these businesses deserve continued support...stay healthy and well everyone and don't forget to support your local businesses in a safe way now and with abandon when we can all come together and celebrate!
Love the host and everything about this epic ice cream tale. Although, the ending...was the host experiencing a major stomach malfunction XD I'm playing. He was epic!
The second guy that said "whaduya" (translating to what are you) made me laugh so hard because you can tell he was born and raised there, as was I, and I miss hearing that accent
Issac is adorable. Apparently I'm the only one that caught the shade and hilarious innuendos by the owner of Big Gay Ice Cream at the cute host. I freaking HOWLED at how funny they were.
Randomly, this is the third episode I've watched. So, the presenter always flirts with the last interviewee. I suspect that the whole ice cream thing is an excuse for a journey in search of true love.
Good stuff as always. The host isn't as charismatic as some others that everyone's gotten used to, but still does the job. He'll get there. Also, careful some of you, your homophobia is showing.
@@mathusan she meant in terms of us dealing with social distancing currently she annoyed she cant visit these ice cream shops now... Stay in school son... lol
Why are people criticizing Isaac as a host? He is a business owner himself and he is genuinely curious and already somehow educated about it. He is also very cute and kind and thoughtful and ask fun questions. What is not to like?
Just imagine how many people would be going crazy and running out of the building if you walked into, "Delicioso Coco Helado" and shouted, "La Migra!! La Migra!!!"
