Because apparently we’ve come to expect anyone in the spotlight, whether it through social media, (UA-cam included), or big time performers, to be personifications of confidence and perfection.
For real, I walked around two girls 2m away from them and they gave me a dirty look and called me racist. I was just social distancing, I do it for everyone goddamn it.

Ice cream is something he’s passionate about and sure he’s awkward but I’m glad he gets to experience these things

Nah, he's just like that in person. I had their ice cream back when they just had a food truck. They were both joking with the customers. He has an awesome personality!
This may be a recurring theme in the series -- have you seen the "Italians Do It Better" episode? It ends with a very flirty interaction between Isaac and a pastry chef.

I wish there was more ice cream shops like this around. There so rare and far in between. To have that classic all American diner feel ice cream place. With the fudge Sundays and seltzer chocolate and the glass cups with cherry on top
Isaac is really sweet and really cute and interested as a host, but he’s slightly awkward, and I feel bad- mostly because I’d act exactly the same. Interviewing someone in this capacity is hard and I’d be even weirder in this situation.

I used to live down the block from eddies sweet shop. It is maybe the best ice cream place in ever. Nothing over the top or fancy about the place. I always get a scoop of chocolate ice cream with warmer homemade butterscotch and homemade whipped cream along with their homemade coke cola. The owners i supper nice and I even had a b day cake from them when I was really young. Anyone who lives in NY has got to go their!

It's a clash of style -- he's a laid back Californian in NYC. He's not as polished as Frank from the pizza show, but still entertaining. In his favor, he's a trained chef who works in the ice cream industry and not just some random host from munchies.

Delicioso Coco Helado...what a wonderful idea! I'm not a New Yorker and have never had this, but I'd be all over it if it were available in my hometown. Such a lovely social support system! Honestly, all of these businesses deserve continued support...stay healthy and well everyone and don't forget to support your local businesses in a safe way now and with abandon when we can all come together and celebrate!

I LOVE Isaac! I've watched all the ice cream videos with him on it. I first saw him filming at Bassets ice cream inside Reading Market, PA. I traveled all the way from NYC to just was to just try their eat ice cream and get Amish goodies too of course 😂
