Instant torque vs long legs, both amazing cars.
Facts. Instant tq from the blower helps!! But from owning 2 termis i can also tell you that tryna shift into 5-6th gear in a termi at WOT high rpms is 50/50 hit or miss most of the time! You gotta man handle it like your life depends on it, even then sometimes it will bounce back out lmfao!!
Love the supercharged Cobra more. Love the look of a gigantic blower on top of the engine.
That gt500 really needs to learn to brake boost.. or really needs a more efficient setup, the amount of lag is terrible. Both very good looking cars though and i'm not even a fan of mustangs. lol
not saying you're wrong by any means, but could also be where they are each at in their power bands, partly.
I agree to an extent but if your car is only in power for 1500 rpm that's a power setup. If I can't at least get 3k worth of nice power band..I'm gonna rethink my setup.

Seeing as it's twin turbo i wouldn't imagine there's too much lag, i think its just the weight and aerodynamics

The 2011 GT500 is 5.4l and the 2013 is 5.8l ..would've been way better if he kept the supercharger as it's a more stable powerband. That turbo lag and bad tune is real plus I believe the 2013 Shelby Super snake is the only Shelby with super long gears going 0-60 in only 1st gear.! Gonna be causing straight hell shifting that car into 2nd and 3rd gear 😱 This 2011 Shelby look like it only has 3:73 gearing.? Still my dream car 😍👌🔥

Both of those cars look nice but I can't get over how clean that Cobra looks. I wish I had a Cobra that had a built motor and a big whipple on top but with a tune for 93 so I could get better gas mileage and it be tamer on the streets. Something around 600-650 whp.

This a crystal clear example of turbo vs supercharger. Supercharger low end hp; instant. Turbo high end hp; builds up.

The blue car probably had as much tourqe as the red car has hp. He just wasn't spooled up whell on each leave or was in the wrong gear and it didn't last long and had to shift

That whipple is in boost Immediately. That's why he would pull out in 3rd and 4th. But that 2011 was just walking away when he got in boost with those 6466s.

Astro Garage well how long are they suppose to race for....the speedo on the cobra already shows they are running around 150. those are stupid speeds on the interstate. if the gt500 can't pass him before then, that's not his problem. I'd probably let off by then too

920hp on a stroker with 34psi? Seems like it should be more than that. I love that red color on the cobra. The interior of the Shelby with the looks of the cobra would be sweet.

What was done to the terminator for it to hold 34lbs of boost! Ive read it isnt good to go more than 28lbs on a stroker, im running an aluminator 5.0 stroker and am very interested in how they got it to hold that much boost lol!
