When I went to the dike I'd fish that same bouy structure. Caught some mighty fine fish from that spot. Tight lines MDLR

I’m a retired Sheetmetal worker. And after work and on weekends I’d go to the Texas City Dike and wade Mosquito Island. Had a lot fun out there. Catch quite a few of those snaggle tooth freckle fish. Then I discovered Matagorda Bay. Miss my skinny water boat. 18.5 Century 115 Yamaha 4 blade Texas cup, jack plate and 70 lb trolling motor. Took it on my honeymoon to Rockport. LOL…. “ I fish… therefore I’m single” 😮

Nice catches, Mark! 🎣 I met a few guys who were at TCD same day as me but they were fishing the first left pier on shrimp and everyone on pier caught a big ugly. I never fish thr left side but might next time.
