- Hope everyone is having a good week so far! Here's a reading vlog where I got 3.5 books read!!! I had a lot of fun with this!
Books I read:
The Blackout Bookclub by Amy Lynn Green
A Thousand Heartbeats by Kiera Cass
DNF'd The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams
Laurel's Dream by Pepper Basham
All The Tea in China by Jane Orcutt
I love it when you do vlogs! Its so peaceful and relaxing.
There is a sub-genre of fantasy that is non-magical. I hate reading books with magic in them and try to avoid it as much as possible. But I love non magical fantasy. There are some really good Christian ones out there. Most of what I read is non magical fantasy. Theres something so refreshing about a medieval fiction world. I love it so much🥰

The first one I would recommend would be The Ilyon Chronicles, by Jaye L. Knight. It’s a 6 book series, but definitely worth it! It’s about a former gladiator/slave and then a girl with perfect memory. Finding identity, finding faith, persecution of faith, battles, standing up for truth, and building friendships. That’s a summary, but definitely read the back blurb because It will be more helpful then me 😂
The Makilien Trilogy by Molly Evangeline is also really good. It’s about a girl who’s trapped in the village she grew up in. She wants to know what lies outside, but she’s not allowed to leave. Certain circumstances arise and she leaves the village, determined to find the truth.
There are battles and skirmishes in this book, but nothing that really bothered me. There is romance in the second and third books.
There’s also Once I Knew by Victoria Lynn. That’s book one in a series. That one is more relaxed and chill.

I bought my daughter “A Thousand Heartbeats” for Christmas based on clean reviews. But after listening to you rave about it, I think I might have to read it myself! 😆

I loved “The Blackout Book Club!” If you love this book, you should try “The Last Bookshop in London.” I just finished it and gave it 5 ⭐️’s!

You should be able to email Ceaco(the manufacturer of that puzzle) and explain which piece you’re missing using the chess(or battleship😂) method. IE Q37. Hopefully they can send you a new piece.
