Nice job! If I'm not mistaken, you have an accessory busbar (the 3 upright bolts) next the zip tied solenoid. No need to splice, just a crimped round wire adapter. Thanks for taking the time to teach!
Yea I have same winch with one wire ran to that bus bar on the same port as the ignition wire so winch only works when key is on bc i didnt want it draining the battery somehow when everything is turned off.

Awesome video, was thinking about installing this same winch on my ranger. Now I know where to start .
