Honestly, everyone showed a lot more love and support for Elena and Stefan than Elena and Damon; nearly everyone said they had no chance and were nothing compared to Stelena: I’m one of them.
Stefan never loved anyone like he loved Elena and he never stopped loving her or moved on - Caroline deserved better than Stefan because they were only paired up to expand their romance storylines because Nina left after season 6 and Klaus left after season 4 and the Originals spin off started. Zero to no one supported Delena. They just got used to it over time. I've never seen Stefan so happy with some than when he was with Elena. Not even Caroline. And I've never seen Stefan so heartbroken and lost for so long then when Elena shattered his heart. Like he was lost. He found his way back through the help and of Caroline but he never loved her the way he loved Elena.

@@karinpetersen1698 Damon literally killed Elena's closest friend in college other than Caroline just because she broke up with him, I don't really think that makes him the better man, especially since he knew it would hurt her a lot. He was also going around killing off an entire bloodline which he continued while he was with Elena. The only thing he stopped doing was compelling women to sleep with him or date him ( basically SA'ing them)

TVD’s storyline was so so much better with the originals and when the story revolves around stelena. I remember giving up watching when stelena was over but the originals and klaus❤️caroline was the reason i kept watching the show. And when they’re gone And made their own show that’s when I just stopped.

but regarding delena, i just didn't like how things happened between damon and elena season 4 onwards.

and then he didn't even wanna be with her 1 or 2 episodes later 🤣(he let her go?)
jeremy dies and she turns her humanity off. (somewhere like s4 e14)
the season ends with them getting back together. (i skipped that part 🤣coz i hate delena)
season 5 starts with them together, then she goes off to college. (boring)
she gets possessed by Katherine. (damon kills Aaron)
she comes back and they get back together for 30 seconds.(they break up again after saying they're bad for each other).
they break up again whilst already broken up (stefan and her spend time together and caroline thinks they're back together 🤣they play some ''never have i ever game tryna get some answers lol'').
2 or 3 episodes later then they get back together coz they both had a crappy day, and they die together.( damon gets stuck on the other side btw).
season 6 she erases her memory of damon coz she couldn't cope lol. (it just keeps getting worse. bring back stelena please).
damon comes back and she doesn't like him coz of the erased memories. (awkward).
they try to get back together. (more awkwardness).
carolines mum nearly dies and elena says lifes too short so they end up together again LOOOOOOOOL.
just before alarics wedding they have their final moment together.

I am too disappointed with the turn the series has taken because Julie Plec has very badly managed the plots and the relationships between the characters, especially that of Stefan and Elena. I loved this series especially the first 3 seasons because the return of Katherine and the arrival of Klaus and the Originals caused a stir. But the show started to go down in quality from season 4 where Elena ended up with that damn jerk of Damon and Stefan ended up with Caroline. Why the series told us about soul mates if in the end none of the characters ended up with their twin flame, incomprehensible. I was really disappointed because I really regret what the production did with the couples. The series could have been good, but this is really sad. The first 3 seasons were great, but from season 4 it went all over the place and it ended in anything.

When ever I rewatch the show annually I don’t watch season 1 -3 cause I hate seeing Elena break stefan
Stelena was better in season 1 and 2 where Selena was pretty crap but delena was better in season 3,4, half of season 5, 6 and 7 + 8 if we can even count those since elena was half dead in those 2 seasons
3 season Stefan left with Klaus to save Damon (there was no such a thing as Delena)
4 Elena choses Damon because of the sirebond (not with her own free will) also not Delena.
season 5 I heard Katherine pretending to Elena broke Damon's heart and he went and killed Elena's friend. This was the most Delena.
6/7/8 were not Elena centric because she was planning to leave in season 6 and 7 non existend and 8 just a guest role at the end. No Delena.
