Jade Ying basically but the first question they asked me to tell about myself and date my core values. Second question was the STAR method kind of question. Third was “has there ever been a situation when you had to drop something at work to handle another priority at work? What was the situation and how did you do it?”. Lastly the fourth question was what are some things that you found surprising. Exciting, or concerning after watching the flight attendant video. A little advice too watch and read everything they send you.

Very helpful Ebony, I went to the Skywest event in Hou., Tx. Jan. 3 and made the first round I was so happy when I saw my name on the list on the door but when I did the second interview and they did not offer me a CJO on the spot and told me it would be two weeks before I would hear from them, I was wondering if I did not make the second round. I was under the impression that Skywest offer CJO's on the spot but I'm never going to give up hope until I get word. I'm still waiting to hear back from them but in the mean time my phone is broke, I had to order another one, I can't get all of sudden get into my emails on my iPad, my laptop is not working, my car not working from Harvey but satan is a liar I'm going to get that message and CJO and get back in the friendly skies again, I can't wait to say HELLO😄 to you in the airport you are so supportive to us hopefuls out here our Wonderful Powerful Cheerleader, you keep us going with your positivity, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING YOU AND BEING SUPPORTIVE, GOD BLESS YOU😍😄🌺😇🎉😘😉🎊😉😘🎉😇🌺😄😍😄🌺😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

Hey thanks for the great video.
I went to have my face to face with American Airlines and basically they break us into 2 groups.
After we did Group Activities, we work together, I personally jump into the questions first and at the same time I gave them a chance too to answer if any more.
After that they brought us back to the room waiting to be call.
They were calling 1 by one. Some got escort out and some went to another room.
When they called me they took me to another room to do a reach test and fast the safety belt. While I’m walking with her she asked me why I want to be a flight attendant? Then we went to another room to have 1-1 interview.
They took a copy of my passport and they took a picture of my self.
After that they asked me some few more questions. Then they step out the office for almost 7 minutes. I was left alone in the room.
Then they came back and they told me the decision it’s not yet made. I will be hear from them in about 5 to 10 business day.
Then I left.
Now I have i good question:
I will have a chance to be call back to do my background check and be fingerprinted?
I need your advice thank you !
P.S: Also I forget to mention a young lady was with us in the group at first when we came in to the face to face interview and she says she only came to go her background and be fingerprinted.
Randomly applied for a fa position 3 days ago, took the personality test and got en email today to complete the video interview!

This convinced me not to even try being a flight attendant. You did a fantastic job explaining everything, unfortunately for me I am awful at group interviews and far worse at video interviews. I've worked for and thrived in a few jobs that normally wouldn't hire someone as shy as me but they just gave me a chance. Once I'm actually working the job, I'm fine but the hiring process is always a killer for me. Great video!

I’m an ex dancer retired from injury and now teaching ballet and working at a restaurant part time. I’m not very happy with the way my career turned out and I always dreamed of becoming a flight attendant! I don’t know how to swim tho and someone told me you have to swim 50 meters and be 5’2 is that true? Your videos are so helpful and making me feel a lot better about applying! about how long should i expect to wait between submitting my answers for my video interview and getting an email back? i applied on april 22, got a request for video interview on the 24th, submitted it on the 26th, and it is now the 30th and i havent heard back yet. i did send out a thank you email to the recruiter hoping it would make me stand out a bit. how long should i expect to wait before i get a response?

Do all FA jobs test both eyes separately? The only reason I ask is because I was a FA before and have lost one of my eyes since being a FA and want to go for it again NOW!!!!! My friend recommended me yesterday and I applied today for delta. I was with Northwest airlines beore. I pray I can still do it. I know ther are some airlines that don't do eye test

They have a lot of practice questions on GlassDoor and Indeed. I would check there. Try to answer all of the questions in the S.T.A.R Format☺️

The hiring process is pretty much the same for bilingual flight attendants. The only difference is there is usually an additional test for language fluency. May have one question during the video interview where you'll have to speak in your language and also a language test during training.

They don't do a background check prior to offering you a position? Also...what if I don't plan to relocate? Do I tell the truth? Please please help
silsil mama Most airlines are going to ask you to relocate. I know some allow you to commute to work but if you're a new hiree you need to be at work a couple hours from the time they call you in so that's why moving closer to your base is recommended and sometimes there's no way around it. You can always move to a base closer to home after a couple months or a year but it all depends on seniority.

wow my anxity has been thru the roof i aplied to mesa before and did not even make it past the one way interview before reciving the TBNT email but fast forwad to one year later i made it to the face to face which was held online and was asked when i would be ready to go to training and everything which is in about 2.5 weeks but i havent heard anything back yet. Im probably just being impatient becouse its only 10 dAys since the intwerview but with the trainig coming up so fast i feel like they shoud hav email me alreday? Any advise or words or wisdom?

I have a face to face interview in Atlanta for Delta. They are paying for the flight..how long do you think i should take off from work? My interview is on a thursday 730am-1130am do u think i will leave on a wednesday & return on that friday or saturday?
First, congrats on your f2f!!! If you're flying into Atlanta for the interview, they will fly you in the day before (Wednesday) and you'll fly back home immediately after your interview the same day.

Hi! Most airlines don't have a real swimming test. There may be water training but not an actual swim test.
