I'm in training now ( can't say what airline) but I'm loving it so far, learning all this info, it's awesome and definitely have to surround yourself with people that are serious about getting through with the highest scores possible, we have 6 weeks. I can honesty say that you and "fly with Stella " have been super helpful with me getting this far!!!

Taren Eddy lol for me I ask other airlines info and they were so nice and show me where I needed to go. Plus the airline give you info of were we need to go and others is just following the signs in the airport.

@@tiffanykay1238 This was over 5 years ago now, but it was 6 weeks of training, 6 days a week, 12+ hour days studying emergency procedures, taking tests and doing drills. Classes were at different times every day, very little sleep, and you must pass each test with a 90% or higher or you're sent home (you get two total re-do tests).

I guess you just reverse the day and night lol. Was that hard for you having to stay up that late. I agree with you. I have to study for the most part by myself because everyone will be this and that and this and that. I would prefer to have a study buddy like you had to minimize negative stuff.

Hi Aly!! I hope you are great!! I wanted to say I got a CJO with Frontier Airlines, but I have applied to Spirit ( I couldn’t make the interview due to not being able to get off work :( ) I also have applied to Delta, American and JetBlue. Anyway all are still under review.. So I my question is do you think I should go to Frontier to get started back in the industry? Or should I wait for Spirit or someone else?? I was a flight attendant at Northwest Airlines about 17yrs ago!!! So I have missed the lifestyle ever since. My other question is have you heard any rumors or anything about Spirit buying frontier or merging?? If that happens we would be in a better place since Frontier right now is the lowest paid that’s the other thing that make me nervous they are still negotiating a contract. Thank you very much in advance for your reply!

Kind of a strange question that maybe you dont get a lot but,
Can males be flight attendants as well?
I’ve always had a dream of being a flight attendant ever since I went on my first flight. They were so nice to me and my parents and I knew I wanted to be just like them someday. I’m a male (14) and I want to someday work for a major airline but my parents keep saying that “boys can’t be flight attendants.” I’ve always wanted to and it was crushing to hear them say that to me. Anyways, thanks.

Being a flight attendant is my dream job, id love to know how and where to begin. I am fluent in 4 languages, I enjoy travelling, love diversity, meeting new people and learn about their culture. tht's why i consider to be a flight attendant. thank you :)

Pug Lover really, 3 months?! The standard here in the US is 2 weeks for most jobs, but it probably varies by job or employer.

    • @puglover7985

Yes. 3 months... thats coz the bosses have time to find a new emoloyee before u quit... 3 months is a loooooong time... but yeah thats how it works

Most places you only have to give 2 weeks notice here in the US! So 3 weeks is being very thoughtful.

Wow, 3 months sounds difficult. Here, most jobs give you a week or two at most before starting, so you basically get the new job & then give your two weeks - which is considered good form to keep a positive future recommendation. But it's really dependent on your job and how well you get along with management as to what you actually do.
