This is my FAVORITE Ronald Reagan scene --- ever! Thanks so much for the high quality. Reagan was a great actor. He would have been 100 years old today, and his movies are still just as fabulous as the day he made them. :)
Movie is available used on DVD from many places, and recently, you can get a new DVD from TCM. A must-have for Reagan enthusiasts (I'm NOT one) and movie buffs (I'm DEFINITELY one).
He sure beat some of the guys that followed Bubba, King George, The Magic Negro, Dumya Oh Man!... This is the true story of how Errol Flynn, Ronald Reagan, and Alan Hale actually won WW2.
It's a movie, but the scene is loosely based on typical tactics of the time... tempt prisoners with food, and try to pry information out of them about anything useful. At that time, there were constantly new advances being made (for airplanes and everything else) and everything was top secret because of the war.
Those guys from Jersey City are well know for throwing sucker punches. I guess thayt's why Reagan launched one of his presidential campaigns from Jersey City

One of Reagan's finest scenes. He wasn't a great actor, but he certainly had his moments.
