Imo no arist "except for Donny Hathaway" painted a picture about the plight of Black America better than Curtis Mayfield. I find it very interesting that he said radio stations refused to play Movin' Up. The same would be happening in 2023, if he were still alive & madethe record type of record. Curtis gave you an education about America's racism in toawrds Black people. The goal has always been to dumb down music fans.
