Little child runnin wild one of greatest songs ever

Ikr, he is such a legend
totally miss Curtis's genius❣
Curtis Mayfield❤️🖤💚💯
"Little Brown Boy" with your eyes so wide, your daddy's joy and your momma's pride........................ is a powerful short composition written by Curtis Mayfield and recorded by the Impressions. RIP Mr. Mayfield, Mr. Gooden 😍
Wow....I listened to "The Makings Of You"
like 10 times tonight from the Curtis "Live" Album that was Recorded at The "Bitter End" in New York's Greenwich Village. It was one my first Albums I bought when I was 14 in 1971. My Father had introduced me to his music with Jerry Butler and The Impressions in 1962. I have always considered him a very Very Unique , Songwriter, Singer, Composer, and Music Visionary that influenced Not Only an Era but multiple Generations. R.I.P. King.
Tood - Dont forget Curtis' greatest songs, even if not political; they are his best music - without a doubt: Gypsy Woman, Sad sad girl and Boy, I'm the one who Loves you, Minstrel and Queen, Keep on Trying, and I'm so Proud and many more. And the songs he wrote for Major Lance and others are astounding.
Amazing artist. I can recall his music being played on Majic 108 Quiet Storm and 1380 KGLD (K-GOLD). "I'm So Proud" and "It's Alright" by The Impressions were played regularly. A few of his songs were featured in the 1995 film "Dead Presidents" . I still own a Superfly VHS tape.
Great!
❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏
Amazing 👏🏼👏🏼
Eagerly looking forward to the movie. I have read the book several times. The movie would be interesting, inspiring-as well as historical.
Rip miss you
Sad thing about his accident someone was interviewed saying it wasn’t an accident.
🤔 Like Teddy Pendergrass.
Is there a link to that interview? It would be much appreciated.
