I just made this, came out great, my husband loved it. I have been struggling with baking, your recipes are so simple and starlight forward to follow. Will making the snickers and salted caramel cupcakes next. Thank you 😊
I'm so happy you and your husband liked the cake!
looks amazing!!
Thank you! Let me know if you try making it :)
Looks amazing 😍
Thank you!
Just made it and it's absolutely great! Makes a nice tall cake. I could only get Biscoff biscuits with chocolate on one side, not the plain ones, but they were fine.
Yay I'm so happy you liked it!
Good
Thank you for the recipe.... beautiful cake....
You’re welcome! I hope you enjoyed it 😊
@@KatBakingExplorer I just made it. My children love it very much
@@Jassss8888 Wonderful news! Thank you for letting me know :-D
Looks amazing! Though I'm not sure if I can make mine look as beautiful (I haven't done piping)
Making this cake would be a great excuse to practise your piping! :)
Hey hun what size tins do you use, because I have only one 23cm tin that is round. How would I use that one?
Hi! All the info is on the blog post via the link in the description :) I have a cake tin size converter here too: thebakingexplorer.com/ingredients-conversions/
@@KatBakingExplorer Thank you hun x
Hi I love your cakes soo much 😍 What is that piping tip called?
Hi, thank you! The piping tip is linked in the blog post :) thebakingexplorer.com/biscoff-cake/
Can I substitute butter for vegetables oil ?
I've never tried doing this so I don't know sorry. Cakes like this are best with butter
Can you do a receipt for a strawberry cake or cupcake please 🙏🏽
Of course, in the meantime you can check out my strawberry recipes on my website: thebakingexplorer.com/?s=strawb
can i use cake flour instead of rising flour ? and if i use cake flour, how many baking powder should i put ?
Hi, self raising flour contains a raising agent so if you swap it for all purpose or cake flour without raising agents, then you will need to add baking powder. The recommend amount is 2 teaspoons per every 200g plain or all purpose flour.
Did you bake in PME tins?
Hi, yes I do for my round cakes like this one
I cant seem to find icing sugar anywhere :( is it also called powdered sugar?
Yes it is also called powdered sugar or confectioners sugar :)
@@KatBakingExplorer do you know the conversion of grams to cups for your recipe?
@@Rana-ne6ds If you head to my website where the full recipe is, there is a button to convert the recipe to cups
I love you ❤️😚❤️😚❤️
How many persons does it serve
12+ depending on how big you slice the pieces
Could you Please write measurements of ingredients by cup
You can find them on my website, head to the recipe card and click "US Customary" under the ingredient list, it will then show the cup amounts. I do however, always recommend baking with digital scales as it's so much more accurate.
Can I skip the eggs?
Hi, unfortunately if you do the cake will not turn out the same as mine. The eggs perform many essential functions. If you would like an egg free biscoff cake recipe, check out my vegan version on my website (I don't have a video for it yet) thebakingexplorer.com/vegan-biscoff-cake/
@@KatBakingExplorer Thank You So Much for the reply. I'll check out your vegan version.
@@CZasaur Do let me know if you make it! :)
No need of Baking powder ?????
This recipe uses self raising flour, so baking powder is not required :)
Oooohhh ... almost the same question ... if I’m not use self raising flour should I use baking powder ? ... and how much ?
@@harumdalu Yes if you are using all purpose or plain flour you will need to add baking powder. The general advice is 2 teaspoons of baking powder per 200g plain/AP flour :)
@@KatBakingExplorer oooohhh I see for the explanation ... good day🌹🌞♥️
