we changed the oil and my son drove it to town, he said the oil light came on and then went off, but he could hear a clicking sound. When he got to a stop sign, all the lights came on and the whole car shut down with a security light, now it won't even turn over. Any suggestions?

Did you check to make sure that there was no oil leaking? After it stalled did you check the oil level?

I have 2011 model i can't get it in the settings butten for oil life reset
Can you tell me if your Ford Edge is shutting down ? My oil light comes on and reads oil low but the oil is full and then it shuts down
Did you scan it for codes?

Yes but it only showed where I had to get a new fuel seal
If you haven't already fixed it, sounds like oil level sensor is bad

Just did an oil change on a 2013 Edge but the menu was not the same. There was no Vehicle menu under Settings. Are the American cars different?
No it should be the sameThank for watching.
Go to convenience instead of vehicle in your settings menu.
With my 14 you turn the key to on then hold gas and brake simultaneously until the reset completes.
This does not seem to apply to the 2013 edge

I reset mine and the lights still on and dinging every 5 minutes or so

Its ofd now, i think i hu3st had to turn my car off for awhile ao the oil could drain back down.
