With the truck running, depress the brake and push the park brake button down for a few seconds until it shows that you have disabled the EPB Shift function. Boom, no more automatic parking brake when you shift into Park.

If you had a 4.6 it was a V6 i owned one and thought it had plenty of power. Maybe you had a bad one? I used to pull a 24ft travel trailer with mine and even over passes here in the PNW it had plenty to stay with traffic while pulling.

A 4.6 is a v8 and they thing couldn’t get out of its own way. And neither could any of the other 200 of them the company owns/owned lol

What type of construction do you do that you could get a free truck? I’ll do it! Great truck, I have a ‘24 SR5 too.

@@j_vanzura you have to be a civil or structural engineer to do that? I’ve always wanted a job like that… but my job pays for car maintenance (except discretionary mods) and auto insurance. :)

@ejshelby5460 no degree required, but you get capped at field inspector and can’t become a manager without a PE

damn nice interior sucks about the creaks tho, poor quality control. hope you haven’t had any issues like others have experienced

So far no issues! The creaking interior is the only really “poor quality” thing I’ve ran into

I'll stick with my 17 it's paid for, and I like my 5.7 without all the tech.
