@@aggelosdimakopoulos5 Madagascar vanilla beans, also known as Bourbon vanilla beans, have nothing to do with bourbon or any other type of alcohol . Specifically from the island of Réunion, which was once called Ile Bourbon.
Not a big fan of vanilla heavy scents. So this will probably be a pass for me. But I do like the le male, though. Vanilla done well in Le Male

This gives me Love Don’t be Shy vibes. Different scent for sure! Almost feels like a fall focused version of LDBS with the added cinnamon and the sweetness toned down a tad. The vanilla really shines. Beautiful, cozy and comforting fragrance. Well done by PDM
I walked into Neiman's yesterday looking for a new, unique fragrance to try and the perfume clerk immediately showed me this and damn, this smells amazing. Very masculine, woody, captures the vanilla and amber notes perfectly, and definitely what I was looking for. It also lasts at LEAST 8 hours. Now one of my faves!

So, I do own Mercedes Club Black and Goldfield & Banks Silky Woods. They do smell quite similar to one another but still different enough not to be redundant. Silky Woods does have a more woody/oud/leather/tobacco base in the drydown but the vanilla is very similar to Club Black. If people are saying this smells like Club Black, then there would absolutely be a similarity to Silky Woods. Althair hasn't hit stores in Montreal, Canada yet but I'll be testing it out as soon as it does.
I will be buying a 5mL decant to try this as soon as I go on fall break and earn a couple of bucks. I got tons of stuff I want, and this is right at #1

Got a decant the other day but was a bit underwhelmed. I'll be sticking with Oajan for this season.

I might just order a pocket sampler from the site I order from. I do have Layton, L Exclusive, Carlisle, Sedley, and Kalan from PDM as I’m getting familiar with their lineup. Expensive they are though. So either samples first, or wait for the discounts if I really want it.

I've been comparing Althair and Pegasus for that last few days. Wearing it and on test strips of different ages now (some sprayed 4 days ago). These two fragrances, to my nose, really only become different in the base notes...and when that's gone too, they both revert to the vanilla and almond. Not sure if I got a bad bottle or what, but except for a couple hours (in the base), these (Pegasus & Althair) are the same fragrance.
I have althair on one wrist and benz black on the other. Diatant cousins at best, althair is better but for what benz black does ill use that until this hits discounters for 160 to 180 at 125 mls.
I didn’t like it at first spray, but it started to grow on me and the compliments started flying. Finished my decant and purchased a 125 ml bottle for $229 usd and was able to klarna it up lol. The dry down is heavenly.

Bourbon vanilla isn’t a boozy note. It’s just a variant of vanilla.

@@faceagain5703 thats hard. Ill have to split up the bottle styles... from the black bottle side, carlisle, nisean and oajan. From the colored bottles id say layton, galloway, and pegasus. from the clear side id have to pick greenley, shagya and darley
I have Percival and Greenley. Love them. Tough to wear most PDM in Florida.

I have Althaïr and love it. For anyone looking for a cheap clone, Cremo’s Vanilla and Black Spice comes really close with good longevity.
It's a nice fragrance. I got a 10ml sample of it. It's too much like The Most Wanted Parfum to me, though, so not sure I'll get it since I have that. I did NOT get the email though saying it was available at Fragbuy. I get your emails, but somehow didn't get that one. Aways next time.
I don’t know what it is but I haven’t found a PDM fragrance that appeals to me. This sounds great but I’m a bit leery of trying another.

I like this one but the guiac wood in the background is a tad off putting for me. Good scent though.
How has no one compared this to Boss Bottled Intense! That's what I smell with my nose; very similar to me.
Because they're probably getting paid or getting a free bottle. The bias of some of these reviewers is so blatant. I'm more than sure if this would've been a Calvin Klein or Mont Blanc fragrance. They would probably be saying that this is the same old thing and run of the mill fragrance.

Sweeter and Stronger than Club Black??? That's gotta be Nuclear and Diabetical Sweet. Because Club Black is a BEAST and kinda Sickingly sweet for my taste. Ill have to get my nose on this one. Excellent Review.
Indeed, despite the concentration I get an easy 8-12 hours of projection strong enough to be noticed at just above arms length.
Wouldn't say sweeter than Club Black. To me it's about the same but honestly feels less sweet due to the fresher notes and musk in Althair. The incense and smokey aspects of Club Black made it very sickening to me and got tired of it very quick. Althair I love cause it does not have the sickly incense and dark tones and instead changes them for fresher tones. Beast performance in comparison to Club Black too.
The pronunciation of PDM Althaïr was wrong😊: there are 2 dots on the I😉, so it is Altha ir ☺️
It’s pronounced « altaeer » if you care about it at all for future videos. Btw Bourbon vanilla is just a type of vanilla from La Réunion, which is a french island
Scent lasted for ages can still smell on me like 17 hours later
bought samples…the initial spray was glorious but after 30min its just vanilla. Doesnt last long or project either.

I saw one reviewer describe it as smelling like a pumpkin spice latte. I have no desire to walk around smelling like a pumpkin spice latte.
It literally does not at all smell like a pumpkin spice latte in my personal experience.

Bourbon Vanilla is called BOURBON because it's vanilla harvested from Bourbon Island. It has nothing to do with smelling boozey.

All the hype for this is bullshit. I smelled it today and it’s almost identical to Armani Code Profumo, with the “root beer float” vibe and all. There is absolutely nothing “niche” about this. Shame on PDM for recreating a designer scent with this because that’s exactly how it smells.
