Great in combo with the other controller the pc 12 with only knobs. Downside is almost 1400 euros for both. Expensive BUT built like a tank, as you say all faders and knobs are smooth like butter, deep deep midi programming… I do find it weird they choose 12 channels, a 8 channel one would be cheaper to start and expand later, make more sense to go together with a launchpad or push, and make it like the lumi controller so I can click 2 together and then have 16 channels. 2 launchpad minis on top, and that would be awesome.
Hey Liam, tell me something, do you need a Digitakt + model:cycles; if you have a Syntakt that can do both drums and bass lines? Asking for a friend, who definitely doesn’t do Drum n’ Bass… (“we need jungle I’m afraid”)
Using that as my main controller! Was initially controlling Syntakt through launchcontrol midi mapped on Ableton with Overbridge. But I'm moving to a dawless setup and have remapped the midi ccs of launchcontrol through the Components app and then connected it to the OXI One (my sequencer) thorough USB with the OXI One as a USB host. This forwards all the midi output of the controller straight to the Syntakt!
This sh*t is hecka overpriced, and it ain't even feature rich. I'm sure it's a good controller, but, for the price I'm seeing for this controller, I might aswell buy a Behringer X-Touch Compact, which I can use for orchestral string library expressions and keyswitches, or I could use it for synthesizer control and Daw control. If I was to add an extra £100+ I'd get a X-Touch (full version) which would be great value for money compared to the Faderfox MX-12. Thank you for bringing this controller to my attention though, I'd grab one if I found it for super cheap.

MP Midi controller is even better in my opinion, due to its display capabilities. But it’s only for DAW plugins.
I use the Midimix and Code 49, works fine... for CC, you can find it in the Midi section of the Syntakt manual.
What happens with values when we change patterns?

I would say the Digitakt is the strongest Elektron box and would suggest owning it no matter what.
