    It worked great for about two years and then the power supply started to fail. It's not a big deal since you have 3 years of warranty. Great device!

    Hi is this an all in one solution? I have iMac running Mavericks & my monitors are KRK powered rokit 5. I have no other external sound card. Will I need one for this unit to work. I don't know much about these things lol

    Cheap solution to the problem of complete monitor control. The first one I bought had a faulty cracking pot on the main knob. It went back. Second one emits a weird hissing/buzzing noise. It's not coming from the monitors but from the unit itself. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

    They have done that many times already. This is just a audio interface which acts as a digital mixer with very few hands on controls.

    Up to 48K is what I needed to know. Question: To have zero latency overdubs, is the DAW out the way to go even though there are two DA/AD conversions going on? In this case I wouldn't want to use the USB out to overdub with? I absolutely cannot tolerate any latency when I record overdubs but figure a slight degrade of the signal through multiple conversion is tolerable. Thoughts? Thank you.

    I would add another Utility option for Ultimate versatility . Add an XLR Midas pre +48V PP input, cause it is taking seperate power supply.

    Is it ASIO-compliant or will you need to use asio4all?

    Please show us how to use this as an interface. My audio software does not see the inputs.

    Nice review. How has the unit been working since? I've read all these horror stories in audio Forums, but wondered if you've ever had any problems with yours. Thanks!

    Is this a trickle down product from Behringer buying Midas?

    Hi.. is this unit for "active" speakers only? y unit is distorting badly... brand new.

    • @MichaelKire
      @MichaelKire 9 років тому

      You should not feed amplified sound into this unit, since its Line Level only.. Doing so may damage the unit

      Depends on the functionality you're trying to achieve. If you just want to use it as a monitor station, run the outputs of your solo into the 1/2 IN of the behringer and connect the Behringers stereo outputs to your speakers. Other than that, it would replace your solo as the interface and you just use it as the new interface.

    Why does every piece of equipment have to come with an audio interface nowadays? Looks like an affordable solution to monitor switching with a talkback mic.

    44.1 or 48 kHz sampling rate, well 48 would be the minimum these days (2020), really. Nowhere does it say what the audio quality is, Behringer refuses to reveal it. Others claim it is only 16-bit, which makes this device pretty much useless, unless you need that 1990s digital quality.

    Some Behringers are known for breaking. Some are known to live forever, like the near indestructible BCR2000s. Judge the product, not the brand name.

    No mic input???

    • @bobcatt2294
      @bobcatt2294 5 років тому +1

      Why would a monitor control station have mic inputs? Its task is to manage the master output from your mixer to various devices like: speakers, a non-DAW analog or dedicated recorder.
