So,you've completed a loop in life's journey. You've improved physically, and the site you returned to has deteriorated. What a great Thanksgiving story! I'm thankful you are doing better. Y'all take care of each other.
Thanks Gly and Larua for all the mine explorations. Me, I have been at a mine site a few miles west of Jackpot and this road is so steep and rugged my Polaris 900 had to struggle. I believe Old Bob can get to this place. I had to slide down into a portal on the side of a mountain only to be greeted by bat bars. A few yards on top is another portal where one can rope down into. I think...three people minimum...one to stand at the portal and two of us guys to rope down inside.
Somewhere out there was an area that had an abandoned mill area, just all the concrete structures, and behind the area was a mess of tunnels all over that are bat barred off
I would wager that you are right "Gly", that incline shaft is likely flooded being in close proximity to the Colorado River, the mine is highly likely within the river's aquafer, underground. It would have been different, Possibly, before the dam was constructed but now, it's not going to be a dry mine., and so now you have come full circle, back to the beginning of the journey. Cool thanks for bringing us along with you on this journey, you have been a great source of exploration and entertainment, in a learning sort of way, for me anyways and I will continue to hang on to your journey for as long as you are willing to bring us along with you. Thanks again, and see you in your next release! Thanks!
Speaking of mines for sale. While doing some research yesterday on the Rosalie mine in Arizona (You've been there before Gly), the mine and the land that it's on is for sale right now for $1.2 million. If you're interested. 😄
"Dendritic" actually is a word. It's the name for a certain type of immune/antigen presenting cell (dendritic cell). I'll stop explaining though because I'm probably boring everyone already 😂 Signed; an Arizona-based med student who has been a fan of your channel since I was in college. Stay safe and keep up the great exploring!
Blue on blue, no heart ache here. Cool mine for the first explore. Secondly, Whistling wind. Gly you came thru a tough period in your life. I'm Glad, you've showed us so many cool mine. I love you for it.
Bout a year ago I found what looked to be a big ole mill site near Gene Wash Reservoir right over the river from Parker and I can’t find it again. Is that sorta the area y’all are in? Any idea what or where that might be
Glad you are better than you were when you were having chemo. And pushed yourself . I too have had to push myself after my heart attack. 🫂👍🏼Neat mine and site . Good to see you both and Bob. Can’t wait for Saturday. Stay safe out there . See you both Saturday. 👍🏼🫂🙂
Dendritic is a word, denoting rock that has dendrites in it (or branching, veining). Yes, you are right, folks "seed" or "salt" a mine even with small amts. of a precious metal and then "hawk" the mine's possibilities of "making money". That "circle" you speak of was one of ALOT of determination and "pushing" one's body, plus building in "some purpose" to even walk the length that you have. (put a "Go-pro" camera in some men's hands and they build Kimbles around them and then go on & on). Congratulations on being "one dertermined man!!
i have been watching you for years and know it seems you are just going back to mines that you already have explored . now you just using differant camera gear. please find some new areas. still enjoy the videos
Gly so glad the cancer is behind you. Question for you two, are the mines in Nevada and Arizona on Federal/public land or private land or both? Are there any that are off limits to exploring?
Hi Gly & Laura stunning location and blue sky. Thanks for taking us on your circular journey Gly, much appreciated 👍

Is there a reason you are referring to the area as the Arizona desert when it is west of the Colorado river in California? Love your adventures.

Question. How did the miners know how to drive a haulage adit to intersect a shaft? Did they use land surveying techniques? Thanks! Tom from Santa Fe.
❤❤❤❤does the weather have anything to do with the condition of the inner mines weather?
I`m with Laura!
Question, do you still have that chair? Before you started youtube i've been with you from day one
Yeah, Wednesday vid🎉
5:38 It looks to me like a little headframe lying on its side.
What state do you think is better for mine exploring California or Arizona?
Yeah, I was one of the suckers who bought Bre-X stock back in the 1990s.

If this is in the Arizona desert then why would California have jurisdiction to Bat Bar the adit?
Any chance you can explore the mines in Jerome?
Dendritic is a real term used in Metallurgy.
