so im confused.... you become a member and you can watch the next videos... so lets say this is a 3 part series.... and members get access to all of it right now.... that means members will have to wait 3 weeks for new (saturday) content.... not trying to be rude but i dont really see the benefit... 🤔
I love the "new" upgrades! Extra camera angles, more conversations and all.... Not that we get tired of Gly yammering on, but Laura is a great addition. She even seems to be relaxing regarding being on camera etc. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Gly and Laura for another most excellent episode! I think that it is very cute that you are both wearing matching attire. It also lends to a more professional looking visual effect.
I didn't join to get the early content. I joined simply to support the channel because I enjoy it SO much! Other channel memberships can be a bit greedy. This membership is so nominal it's hard to believe that it helps at all ... unless we subscribe in numbers. Thank you Gly and Laura!
“Gly”: We have 74 members so far. The goal is 100 because that’ll help cover 2/3 of the fuel we purchase each month. We’re happy you’re enjoying your membership, parts two and three will be coming out today!
Wow this is one of my favorites Gly-the scale is just amazing. Your enthusiasm and production quality are off the charts, as usual. In fact you are so good, I can’t even watch other mine channels 😬🤣👍.
I have a golden ticket😅 i just got my early bird special...and I have my cup of coffee ☕ out of my new Abandoned and Forgotten Places mug the kid got me for mother's day. Thanks Gly and Laura for the adventure!
I think TVR Exploring, or Western Mine Detective, I forgot who it was, has explored this one, that flatcar or timber car (8:10), reminded me of his video. Don't remember which one it is, but I think when one of the mine explorers explored it, they were able to come in through the haulage adit. So, that haulage adit must have been blocked or collapsed recently. Also, the ending of the video, confirmed it with that ore car. This mine is massive and beautiful. I won't spoil it for other people who want the suspense. It's nice to rewatch a mine video, from somebody else's perspective. Keep up the great work, Gly and Laura!
I rarely comment....but im impressed with this mine....I still can't fathom the ridiculous amount/ labor effort miners did daily.... Way you document these mines in my opinion honors them with in depth knowledge. Laura is doing wonderful too! I also loved the idea of forgotten mine cologne....like a merch item for the channel!
“Gly”: We’ve had a major setback that’s kept us from the comments section lately. This coming Wednesday we’ll reveal what’s been going on and how we’re handling it. This was a fun explore and we’re happy you enjoyed it! Thanks Tina!
Great mine! Thanks for bringing us along on the explore! As a side note, those blue objects hanging from the ceiling are usb data loggers, probably temperature and humidity.

Dang, first to comment. Cool. Do I say? So many people to thank. First my cat that woke me up early. Next to my wife to feeding said cat. Obviously, Gly & Laura for this amazing opportunity. Praise God for all he has done for me to afford the early access and being able to watch the video. So many so little time. Oh mom & Dad, I love you! Good morning.
Fantastic mine! Love the membership! Glad you 2 thought of it. As always, glad you have a partner in exploration, the amazing Laura the abandoned mine explorer with the DYNAMITE smile!
Great mine. Love the size comparisons, helps appreciate how large these things are. Thanks for another great explore. Stay safe as always. Love to you both xx
You're no 499 to relieve my anticipation for the next episode well worth it Thanksgiving Laura for all the great work I love every episode keep them coming
Hi Gly and Laura, I have a question for you all. When a claim is staked with boundries that is the obvious perimeter allowed to work. Yet when watching videos once underground these mines seem at times to go forever. Can you explain how the boundries work for me? Thanks for the content and keep up the great work both of you do.
@Gly/Laura ... What weight rail do you think they were using? looks like 45lb/ft, a bit like the narrow gauge railways in Wales, but way heavier than our miners would have used. Could that be because they had Locomotive traction ?
As we watch Laura climb down, looking right, why didn't you rope down thru that wide, open area? The 1st. then for sure, the 2nd. "speedy" transition really shows how LONG and LARGE these workings were. At 26:08, you speak about the "smell", as it reminds you of old, oil residue, and you like so-o much. You're weird. With all the upper stopes above the main adet, that sure does make for one huge mine. Boy! thanks for documenting and then showing us all that you found.
About leaving stuff in mine; eventually everything will be destroyed. If it can be archived with information about where it had been found, everyone can experience the histry from objects. Put in appropriate museum.
Its a service to those who can't, or don't want to wait and view new segments of Wed's & Sat.'s. epsiodes. (and Gly said that it helps pay for the gas to get to these places.

Amazing mine thank you
What a fabulous mine ..awesome explore ..
From Australia
Love that full intro 😊
The rail is huge.
I believe Those are bat monitors
JMHO
I can't give this video enough likes. 😯
"Abandoned Mine" By Faberge' 😄
amazing mine!
Awesome. Be safe.
Gly your a fan of Land of the Lost too? Hope you find a sleestak. Get a picture.
U2 are going into other places now it's nice
Tank you for telling us what is mined here.
Great video
“Gly”: Thanks!
Sleestak LOL. I wonder how many people know what you were referring to!? 😂
Sleestak
@@JohnCompton1 correct, my voice to text was a little bit off.
Double-chipmunk mode. 2 is better than one!
Did you see the cool ore vein, time stamp 18.10 running accross the back of the mine.
They have their matching Forrest service uniforms on 😀
“Gly”: Dressed for success! 👍
Gly, did they pull any gold out that mine? Was that a work cart?..Great job on the Video..Thanks...................JB.
“Gly”: This mine was primarily a Tungsten mine. That low boy cart was used for hauling equipment and timbers.
@Gly/Laura ... What weight rail do you think they were using? looks like 45lb/ft, a bit like the narrow gauge railways in Wales, but way heavier than our miners would have used. Could that be because they had Locomotive traction ?
“Gly”: They were using electric locomotives in this mine and much larger ore carts in the main haulage adit so the rail was pretty heavy duty.
@@AbandonedandForgottenPlaces Thanks for confirming
Miner's Cologne 😂
Those "earlier explorers' light thingies" - could they be bat counters?
“Gly”: They were the kind of LED light you’d attach to your keychain. They were using them to mark their way through the mine.
@@AbandonedandForgottenPlaces Thanks. That's cleared that up then!
The cologne could be called Eau De Miner… 😂

Most artifacts that end up in a museum are never put on display. They have thousands of items that remain in storage, never to be seen by the public.
@@lh6551 However, they are still documented, preserved and protected.
i made it .. hi guys ,
Jack leg?
“Gly”: Correct. Jack leg for a stope drill. 👍
9:31 IS that technical speak? boring through stone or to watch 😏
“Gly”: A little bit of both I’m guessing. 🤔
A lot of rock has come down on the track.
Not a healthy place to linger.
Less face view and more first person view plz nice mine tho.

You don't HAVE to pay to watch the videos. It's an option to view the videos early, is all.
“Gly”: There’s a handful or people that have Santa Claus beard material stuffed between their ears and I think you’re one of them.
