I just flipped one just like that except it was self propelled. FWD, the front wheels were very warn, I ended up finding some other wheels that fit in better condition. and sold it after doing a carb rebuild and cleaning and the other stuff oil change, filter, blade sharpen, etc . you cannot kill a quantum unless you are the EPA.
It’s happening here too, they are dragging out their old mowers for repairs like crazy I’m really covered up and trying to get over herna surgery’s on both sides lower, but I’m making it ok but slow 😊😊😊
I was a technician for 20 years at a big manufacturing plant and this is what I was told..... a bolt has a nut on the other end and is torqued down by the nut and a screw can make its own threads and is torqued down by the head😁
Good video Tom. On the primer style Quantums, try putting a quarter sized washer on each side of the air intake of the backing plate, screw them down snug. It takes the distortion out of the backing plate, gasket(s), etc. I've done it on about 4 or 5 Quantums now and it works well. Cheaper than replacing the backing plate or using multiple gaskets.

The fact, they put a 'danger' sticker on the mower. If you don't have common enough sense. To know a mower can be dangerous. You have 'no' business operating it !! But the truth be told. They don't really care about your safety. It's so their not held reliable. Which in turn avoids lawsuits.
Technically a bolt goes into a Nut were there's no internal threading. Or clearance hole. Unless there part underneath is threaded then you useca Screw or were the Part has Threaded Hole. It like Some people call engines MOTOR even though not the Same Thing Some Mechcanic cal them self Motor Head. Even thought They work on Engines. Not Electric Powrered Motiors

A screw, used in building things like furniture. A bolt, used in assembling & fastening but still removable.

When the fuel being sitting that long and gone sta l e a Gummy is it necessary to flush thd Tank .
Or because it Plastic these Draining is ok
