Whether you like them personally or not, the amount of actionable info that Dr. Mike, Menno Henselmans, Jeff Nippard, Dr Pak, Milo Wolf and a few others put out for free is just amazing. Not to mention that, as good practictioners of science, they also have no issues to talk about what they got wrong and why, and why they improved their perspectives on any given point. ❤

I really enjoyed Mike's take on "most people just want you to succeed" when it comes to family and friends being skeptical about career choices. It's true that most of the time the concerns our loved ones have come from a good place. However, their concerns are really their problem. If you're passionate about something and have done your due diligence on researching your options in life....take that risk and pursue what you feel can give you an amazing and fulfilling life.

Such an informative podcast; It gave a better understanding of how I should be structuring my training as a novice lifter and I think it will allow me to enjoy the process considerably more (focusing less on the weight and more on getting a proper stimulus with ideal form. Also there is so much more conversation that could have been had. Dr Mike didn't talk about nutrition at all! This could have been an 8 hour podcast and I would have listened to all of it.
