Oh my gosh! This is such an old one. Back when we didn’t have a clue what we were doing. We have been back to Amsterdam quite a few times since then. If your friend is going to be there, tell them to look up the restaurant Den Silveren Spiegel. The food is off the charts amazing. And it’s in this incredibly historic building. I have the footage - just need to make the video!!

If you love art or history, hit a museum. Anne Frank is a highlight, and so is the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. If shopping is your thing, don’t miss the Albert Cuypstrasse market. It’s one of our favorites in Europe. If you want to hit a Holland highlight, head to Keukenhoff Gardens. For general sightseeing, take a canal boat tour. You’ll stop by the Heineken Experience as well as most of the other places we mentioned. If you can get a reservation at Den Silveren Spiegel, you’re in for a culinary treat in a historic building that’s within walking distance of the port. We hope these ideas help.
