I just discovered your channel and I greatly enjoy your videos. You have a very positive outlook on life and an abundance of charm.. Having recently moved to the beautiful south Spain (a cyclist's paradise) and now attempting to learn the language, I particularly appreciate you issuing a few phrases in Spanish. Keep up the great work and thank you. And more Spanish please!
One of my most enjoyable ride was riding in the wet where there was no wind, was not cold at all and just a great experience. It became the reason why I have a dedicated rain bike. As long as its not too cold amd windy I'll still ride out.
Great video Federico. I reckon the police stopped you because you looked so good in your Siroko gear. Amazing that they thought it was suspicious filming in bike gear but they were very nice by the looks of it.
Cops are not always the brightest sparks. But in their defense, it is hard for us, elsewhere in the world, to understand a once powerful country under constant threat.

Hey Federico! I have the Lun Hyper 50 mm rim brake version. When I ride those wheels for the first time they felt so so stiff!!! And you are true you feel a lot more rode bumps it’s because of the stiffness of carbon spoke make all the difference for the stiffness compare of regular spokes. That’s why we feel a lot more the ride bumps! Maybe put some 28mm tires it will help a bit… but you still will feel rode bumbs more then the normal spoke but will help a bit compare to 25mm! Cheers from cold and snowy Montreal Quebec Canada💪🏻🚴🏻♂️
I have a photography permit to film and photograph in Windsor Castle because I am Crown Authorised BUT I still get stopped but the police when I have my camera and badge etc! They are hyper vigilant!
Nice ride ! I have fulcrum racing zero wheels, rim brakes, they are aluminium but very nice wheels, weight is 1490g. If i took those Hyper wheels in 35mm deep rim, weight will be 1250g, do you thing it will be a big difference especially in the mountains, i ride mainly in mountains with 8% and more gradient.
next year im buying a used bike for winter dont tell my wife lol, i use the same tire pressures , so far no flats in 6 months , tube tires ,cheers , oh i wish i had friends to ride with ,
Great video of what looks like a fun ride, Federico! Happy to hear that the new wheels are working out well. I suspect the lighter weight is responsible for the improved acceleration and hill climbing that you mentioned. I had a pair of Cadex 42 wheels (1327g) that felt like that. I'm riding Roval Rapide CLX wheels now, which are a couple of hundred grams heavier and don't feel as responsive (though they might be more aerodynamic).
In wet conditions do you or the others you ride with not use mudguards? I don't like them but if it's wet they do really help. I use lightweight SKS Raceblades and they are good. Easy to put on/take off as required. Today here was dry so they were off, first time in a while.
Thank you! Coffee stops are getting targeted and definitely we need to be on high alert. Some use small cable locks, but in reality you should have the bike on sight at all times.
I am struggling with gloves myself. I have been using Endura waterproof ones, but when it is very cold I also use a thin inner glove. I am waiting to receive a pair of heated ski gloves, to see how they work.
Hey Fede! Yes the Hypers can be wicked fast.und tue 50's are even faster. But honestly i do not like the wet breaking performance. Sure i got no comparison go others carbon rims, only to Aluminium. So there is that. So i just avoid riding in wet conditions. Problem solved!
You don’t have to answer their questions. If they ask me questions my reply is “am I detained or free to go”. If I’m detained the ask “what are the charges”. Then I shut the F up.
The Police saw a dark, foreign looking man, with a big hook nose and long beard mingling with regular "English" cyclists pretending to be one of them. They will not be fooled.🤔🙄Entirely predictable.
You are italian and you itself look like a million dollar. Those new age snobs even look at your face if it looks expensive enough to start conversation.
Moloko are likely the most inclusive club in London. They are open to absolutely everyone to join rides with all sorts of pace groups and kit/bikes arnt a point of contention at all.
Haha, nice coppers, I went through schipol airport and the immigration officer asked me if "my pen was working"
Outrageous they even doubt that 😂😂
"no but my hairdresser works hard."
Very impressed with you filming and riding in wet conditions
Mouth mount can come to the rescue if needed!
Great community of riders you have there. Cheers.
That Bianchi Fedi.... the colour pops on a dark day :) .... makes me think of summer and better days ahead !!

Thank you so much! I will try, it is easier for an Italian, but after having studied Spanish at uni I haven't practised it much! Ciao!
nice one Fede, kindness goes a long way - their jobs aren't easy and I don't envy them at all
Yes, that's what I think
Muy buen video como siempre
Gracias!

Yes, riding in the wet is not too bad. It's coming back home all wet that is not nice

I know, I was surprised in a way, but I can understand 😄

Hyper Aqua Edition needed for that ride dude🤟
So polite the police officers

Yes, but strangely at higher speed they seem to absorb bumps better than my previous Prime wheels.
Lovely Video, see you soon I hope

Makes sense, they also had the incident with the crossbow intruder
Looked like a fantastic ride.. even with wet conditions.
It was a great day, considering the stormy weather the week before!
They say softshell too here in Spain.
Claro que si 😂
There was so many police there that day!

@@chrisdelaplante5515 definitely you would feel the weight and the carbon spokes stiffness. I still prefer more profile for the speed
Disks would be perfect in those conditions
Luckily it was relatively dry, so braking was still very good.
My lord, I am not riding in that kind of weather 😂😂 kudos to you
It was a fine day comparing to the previous week!
Hyper wheels are 🔥
Gutted I missed it, next time!
You would have enjoyed it!!

We have police in Windsor just to make sure no one steals all our buns
Rightly so!

Yes, maybe I'm noticing more as the Prime were 1620g vs 1360g now
@@fede1275
Good to see u are keeping rim brakes alive and viable !!
In still on my Ultegra 8000 rim brakes and no thoughts of
changing any time soon.
What width tyres did you use on the new wheels?
I'm using 25c GP5000 tyres on the Hyper wheels
Great video, but those tyre pressures! Real high...that's prob why it feels harsh.
I know, but if you follow the charts they are normal for my 87Kg on 25c tyres, no?
@@fede1275 try SRAM tyre pressure calculator (factors in rim width)
I reckon you could drop 5-10 psi depending on conditions? Worth a try :)
@@matanhale I believe they are biased towards the lower pressures needed for their Zipp hookless rims. Silca readings are similar to what I run
@@matanhale in reality I pump them up every 3 or 4 days, so in reality I do use slightly lower pressures
nice i didnt know about this moloko place im only a mile away from there is there any mtb division there??
They have gravel for sure, but check with them about mtb. I'm just on road for now

I'm not a fan of mud guards, but I know I'm wrong. I only use a small ass saver on the winter Ultimate
what are those overshoes at the begining of video?
Hello, these are BBB Ultrawear BWS-25 zipperless
What cameras were you using might I ask?
A GoPro 10
@@fede1275 very good quality footage
Great video but I have to ask, do riders not believe in mudguards down there in London? 😱
I believe it's a fashion thing
Fede, great video! And glad you are getting to try the new wheels!
I’m always wondering how do you lock the bike when you are in the coffee shops?
Thank you! Coffee stops are getting targeted and definitely we need to be on high alert. Some use small cable locks, but in reality you should have the bike on sight at all times.
What gloves would you recommend for me as I have cold sensitive hands, and live in Albany, NY, US?
I am struggling with gloves myself. I have been using Endura waterproof ones, but when it is very cold I also use a thin inner glove. I am waiting to receive a pair of heated ski gloves, to see how they work.
Try Pearl Izumi lobster gloves. I find them a real gamechanger.
@@jamessalter5330 unfortunately I can't hold the handlebar as I'm used to with them!
Bravo Federico ! Excellent video . Saludos de Tejas . Pero si se ve un poco frío y mojado para mi . Que eran las temperaturas ? 🥶🚴🏼✌️
Gracias! I really should practice Spanish more! Eran cuatro grados C!
Does nobody in London use mudguards?
Only one in our group, I am not a fan, wrongly though
It's never pleasent experience when police stops 😅

Too much Shimano & Sram in a video made by an Italian😂 didn’t see much if any Campagnolo components!😮
