Had gotten a pair of Tekela V3 pro’s on a crazy deal for 50 but the stitching and inner heel portion started coming apart. Set up a return and ordered a pair of these for like 60 bucks and am super excited to get them and try them out.

Those are alright, some look real nice. They're shallow as heck though. The heel area in the back feels loose, and the middle lace area of the tongue is thin. Doesn't affect the tightening of laces, but not my cup of tea. Need more lockdown. These new balance are crazy comfortable. Open toe box is a revelation
go to a store and try it on and you can tell immediately that the Gloro is not worth the time compared to the 442. The leather on the gloro is very very thick and low quality.
Really good shoes, but i’m always struggling with sole separation and I experienced this issue immediate immediately after a couple of training sessions

I have a pair of the non-special editions, which i picked up on sale for $65. Quite easily my go to. I also have a pair furon 7s.
Imo, especially if you pick em up on sale, they are one of the best boots even comparing them to top tier speed boots.
Weight alone to me is ridiculous, that they measure up to top tier Mercs and I think they weigh as much as the crazyfast.1.
My only gripe would be the build quality could be better. But for the price i picked them up for im quite happy

At the end of the day, I don’t do weight because I don’t think it makes a difference. I’ve worn boots of all types at the top level and it makes very little change to play

Like the boots but having owned the v1’s, I’d hope they fixed the issues.
Those ran 1/2 size big, would always come loose no matter how tightly tied, & started giving heel pain after 20min of wear. Start/stop/cuts became painful.
I ultimately relegated them to wear while coaching micro (5-6yo players).
They seemed to have fixed the issues!

If you were to do a one month review on this silver version (which is not 100% K leather), what specific differences would you note from the one month review you did on the gold 100% K leather version?
1) better midfoot lockdown
2) similar shape/sizing
3) Still stupid lightweight and durable
The MAIN thing I found is actually that over time, the midfoot performed better because it didn't over-stretch like the all-leather model did!

I got the black colorway with some red accents, the boots are nice but I’ve got hell blisters twice from 2 separate events. I don’t know if I should ditch them or keep them until is fully broken in.
Class mate! Those area super clean looking. Sorry to hear you've had blisters! If they keep giving you blisters but the rest of the shoe fits well, it's probably worth investing in a different pair

My pair is almost completely broken after just 6 months. Laughable quality... They started coming apart from the sole plate on day one and the weak synthetic material now has some tears in it. I am so disappointed, because I really love the fit and feel. They were one of the most comfortable boots ever for wide feet.

Hi Noah, am gonna buy these boots after your review! But a question, how much room do you always leave in the front side of the boots! I always have the problem that when the width is perfect, I have so much space left at my toes, like a thumb size. Even with wide boots like the tiempo or morelia II. Thanks!!

ive been using phantom venom elites for 3 years. do you think it would be too much of a change going to these? looking at tiempo 10 elites otherwise, I like the lockdown of Phantom venoms, but dont want the mercurial full flyknit feeling on toe box, like abit more material on toe box
Class! Nothing really feels like those Phantom Venoms anymore - maybe the GX but those are about the closest thing you'll get to them nowadays. If you're going to change silos/move on, you might as well just go for it and see what you like best!

They do a little bit, I'd say the adler is much thinner and more barefoot feeling, but the lockdown of these wins out and the shape of these feels SUPER natural on feet for me

How these compare to the Morelia II Elite? I can get them for about the same price as these. By the way, I got the golden one of these and I loved them
Tried both NB 442 v2 pro black color and Morelia II Elite on my very wide feets. You can tell out of the box that Mizuno build quality is better than NB (442 are still very well made tbh). Unfortunately Morelia II soleplate was not wide enough for my feet - I have this problem will almost all FG/SG cleats. NB 442 FG fit like TF/indoor shoes with I found to be the most comfortable/stable cleats for my wide feet I ever tried. 442 are also lighter (177g) than Mizuno Morelia II Elite (~240g). Sadly had to sent back my pair of 442s because center hell support red thing in right shoe was slightly off-center with in result gave me nasty blisters after only 30min of playtime. Now I'm waiting for refund and I think I'll order 442s again but this time half size smaller.
@@cnk191 Thanks for the comment. I bought the NB 442 v2 pro limited edition, the golden one. I have wide feet and never gave me any blisters. This was more than one year ago and the boots are starting to break down, I play 3-4 times a week on average, so not too bad I would say. I liked them so much that I am thinking of buying them again. Allegedly the non-limited edition has a lot less leather, only the forefoot, not sure if that is true, but that's what most reviewers say. The thing is I can also get the Mizuno Morelia II Elite for the same price or even cheaper. The Elite are not a takedown model as such but surely they are not anywhere close to the MIJ quality, I was just wondering if they are better, then I am better off buying the Mizuno then.

Already did the low top and the high top mate! The mid cut is the same boot as the low top with some extra material around the ankle

I'd say they're wider overall, although out of the box the Predator's toe box feels a bit wider while the midfoot feels much thinner
