One your best analysis yet, I'm glad you purely analysed Star Wars fighting styles that was great. I still think Obi-Wan vs Anakin is the best lightsaber duel. Darth Vader's appearance in Jedi Fallen Order was the best part of the game, one of his best scenes of all time.
I completely agree. That part where he's following you he feels so terrifying. You really get the presence of his power. You just feel like you are screwed, you have no chance at all. Vader just appears and I was like oh shit. It was an interesting perspective. I think it was the first time I ever really got to feel what it was like from the perspective of the people in the star wars universe. Cal is a decent jedi and he has nothing on vader.

You also see anakin (Vader) use the "Falling avalanche" in Battlefront 2, its however called "Passionate strike" but it essentially goes through an opponents guard because he hits so hard.
Vader also telekinetically threw his sword at Kenobi during their fight on the Death Star and he managed to evade this boomerang. Although he was clearly surprised at how the dark lord had changed in terms of combat since their last meeting.

I am a huge STAR WARS fan so I am extremely familiar with the seven forms of lightsaber combat. I've even done saber choreography in college. The fact that you were able to analyze each of the seven forms, especially Form V, is impressive. Out of all those forms, Shien/Djem So is the one I wanna know the most.

I fully support your Iron Fist, Bushmaster and Bullseye suggestions. Seasons 2 of IF and LC had some damn fine stuntwork. In regards to Daredevil, well...perfection.
Vader really is the Sonny Liston or George Foreman of Star Wars. He attacks in straight lines, overpowers his opponents with insane power blows, and while he _seems_ brutish, hes actually very technically proficient and deceptively skilled with a keen tactical mind. Also hes got a deep booming african american voice with broad black shoulders.
A problem for me with all the Clone Wars and Rebels fights (I'm currently on Season 4 of Clone Wars) is that there is no weight to any of the characters. They all move like fleas and it's extremely disconcerting to me haha

Vader seems to fight with a mix of English Fencing, German Swordsmanship and Ganryu Kenjutsu (Known for being Sasaki Kojiro's school of Kenjutsu and focuses on using power while utlizing distance and space as tools)

Maul is definitely on the list for suggested videos! I might do Boyka someday, but the truth is that "real" martial artists don't perform that well on my channel. I tried Donnie Yen, Wesley Snipes, Michael Jai White, and Iko Uwais and they all underperformed compared to fictional characters like Batman and Captain America. And you are correct about the hiatus, I'm working on a very big video that's going to take months of work. But I will do my best to make other videos for the channel in the meantime!

See the tricky thing about "kickboxing" is that it's a term that means too many things. It can even mean Karate as in "Japanese Kickboxing" or Muay Thai with "Thai Kickboxing." It's more of an umbrella term and not exactly a style per se. But some places teach it as such. In all honesty, I'd take more time explaining all the things it is and isn't than analyzing the character at hand, haha

Thanks! I generally stick to analyzing 3D animation. 2D animation is too unreliable and inconsistent to judge accurately. That's not to say I'm not open to doing a fictitious fighting styles analysis on them.

You should analyze the fighting styles of clone wars and rebels. The animators does an amazing job in both series showing the diferences between each duelist. I specially love how kanan ends up adopting the grand inquisitor´s fight style after various fights against him

Thanks! I generally stick to analyzing 3D animation. 2D animation is too unreliable and inconsistent to judge accurately. That's not to say I'm not open to doing a fictitious fighting styles analysis on them.

You should analyze the fighting styles of clone wars and rebels. The animators does an amazing job in both series showing the diferences between each duelist. I specially love how kanan ends up adopting the grand inquisitor´s fight style after various fights against him
The Falling Avalanche sounds like the Jodan sword attack in Kenjutsu where you hold the sword above your head
Much of lightsaber combat is based on Kenjutsu as well as fencing.

The Vader scenes in Rogue One and Fallen Order really show just how royally fucked most people are when they have to go up against him.
