Demolition Hammer is some of the heaviest thrash can get. Absolute classic giga chad band.
I first heard them around my junior year of highschool. That was a very long time ago. I'm definitely going to see them live when they pass by the east coast again.
Admittedly, I discovered Demolition Hammer through your channel a year ago when I first discovered your channel and you were always talking about them. I got into a lot of bands through the lore of this channel. NunSlaughter, Deceased, Denial Of God, etc. etc.
Me too. I'm 41 and been listening to and playing death metal since highschool and it's insane how many bands I completely missed just because of geographic or timing reasons. It's nice stumbling over a legend every once in a while. I been finding a lot of sick classic death metal bands that I never heard of Tampa Morgue Podcast. Nobody finds everything on their own the year it comes out. There's tons of bands I was late on because I was a record store or nothing guy until I was only left with the online option. To me it's about genuinely enjoying it. Not when you found it.

The weakest GBK is Kosherat and that was a good album. I go back and forth between Mocking and Judeobeast as my favorite.

I don't think it is bad by any means. I think it's the weakest GBK album but the weakest GBK album is superior to a ton of stuff.
I’m only 21 and have been into metal since I was 15 YEAH I KNOW LATE TO THE GAME BRAH BRAH but like I knew about demolition hammer as soon as I was tired of the wimp shit and found bands like demolition hammer, whiplash, morbid saint (only spectrum of death brah brah), rigor mortis, exumer, so on and so forth. Not saying I need the bonus points but like they are just a basic band you hear about when get into metal.
Razor also blew me away when finding them. The guitar tone on violent restitution just makes you want to do push ups to behind bars!!!!!

Yeah I have a non pre-order item from a label six hours away from Philly that was placed April 5th..... no responses to email, and Im not the only one. I understand places get busy but thats why when its not a label only preorder I only order vinyl from HHB or NWN. Sometimes some more obscure sites for Goregrind and stuff via 625Thrash ect, Haunted Hotel Records (for tapes its Caligari Records and Headsplit) But yeah, even with my bands... if you order something its shipping immediately if its in stock. The resale prices on every single GBK full length repress is fucking ridiculous. Mocking goes for absolute minimum $150 for the 2023 press and goes up from there for every older repress. It’s not unheard of to see a first press of Mocking or Judeobeast on eBay for $850, and the split with Absurd and Sigrblot regularly goes for $500+
I really believe people like Justin or most of the people on this channel are bias against deathcore. I was listening to pain remains: dancing like flames by Lorna shore and that song is powerful not only is the music 🎶 beautiful and it’s very technical but, Will vocals is a powerhouse. It always baffles me that a lot of the purist pretend that they don’t like Lorne or infant or signs of the swarm because the music is as talented as death metal. It’s technical it’s brutal it’s heavy

The metal community is too full of themselves and too egotistical. Punk rock taught me to be more humble and less cynical but sure there’s always those types in every genre even punk. Elitism is every where but at least with punk we didn’t need the bands to be so technical or we didn’t need the solos to enjoy fast paced raw songs.
