Watched a show about tribal humans of today and one of the key things they did was make moonshine out of banana skins and honey, leaving the sugar in the fruit skins to ferment the water into alcohol during the day heat. This might be closer to ancient truth than realised. Watched a show about tribal humans of today and one of the key things they did was make moonshine out of banana skins and honey, leaving the sugar in the fruit skins to ferment the water into alcohol during the day heat. All fruit eventually rots and will eventually ferment and produce alcohol, which is why animals that roam outdoor can sometimes be found behaving unnaturally from being drunk off all the fermented fruit they've eaten (goats getting stuck up trees etc).
