This advice is all beautiful. I’m a sophomore at an itty bitty private school, so I can’t apply yet, and I don’t want to get my hopes up. Plus, since I take a lot of the higher classes offered, people there can often be small-minded and constantly talk about grades and colleges like it is the only thing important in life, which makes me feel worried about impressing others and being good enough to stand out. I want to go to a school that makes me feel proud, and a lot of those places are more difficult to get into. This video comes across as so genuine and so comforting. It’s like having a best friend that knows just what to say. This is best answer I’ve gotten to my anxiety. Thank you. :)

As a rising senior, thank you so much for this video. The year hasn't even started and I have been crying over my screen worrying about this whole college application process. As someone who struggles with severe anxiety, it has been very hard to even start this journey. It's very easy to feel like everyone is doing better than you and that you have no future. Thanks to this video I've learned to take a step back and breathe for a bit, and for that, I thank you so much! I fully expect to re-watch this video again soon lol. (: I’m a Senior right now and finished applying to colleges and I keep finding myself comparing myself to others who apply to 20+ colleges and have insane stats and extracurriculars. Those people are incredible and I can’t help but feel inferior as you described. 6 of the colleges are hard reach schools that I really want to get into but I’m always doubting myself, but Im hoping for it to be okay! This video really helped ease the stress, tysm!

I’m currently applying as an international student. Although SAT test become optional, many of my friends are taking it before me and this causing me peer pressure. Thankyou alot for all of the advise. I was almost cried as I watched your video.

People with 4.0 GPAs and 1500+ get rejected. I can manage a 1500 SAT and a good GPA. but my Indian parents will be very upset if I don't get into a prestigious university. My last resort is to lie on my application.
