I bet your family is growing again. This was my first summer as a new dad, and my favorite memories were my daughter practicing waving and blowing kisses to at daddy w from the backyard patio with mommy, while I mowed the lawn waving back at her. Blew her the occasional kiss too.
Attention grass daddys!! During the still a baby age, crawling and occasionally still put grass in mouths. How long did you keep them from playing on lawn after spraying herbicides?
Now shes ten months old, I like seeing her crawl on the lawn when we play on the grass and practicing standing with me on the nice grass.
I do tell my wife when I spray either front or back yard to ensure a few days extra to the label says its safe. I prefer having a full irrigation before we play on turf sprayed with even regular homeowner 3 way hericides. I found myself using my heavy hitters tzone and triclopyr only once so far this fall season. I bet we all played on the grass and not one of our parents needed to know when it was sprayed...she's only 10 months though, she still eats it.
The label says safe for pets but not babies eating grass!!

Did you see any signs the lawn was ate up with cinch bugs with hindsight that could help me pretreat? I thought had a grub issue with but who knows. I had several spots totally dead! I bombed it with 24 hour grub killer,Humic,aerated and overseeded with a TTTF/KBG blend and watered the shit out of it and it’s coming in nicely although it hasn’t rain in 3 weeks.

Dude, man, you sound so down! You should be excited! Unless you're moving into an apartment with no grass...then, you should be down! Its all good, you'll get back up on the saddle soon enough!
