Just what I needed 20 minutes of leaf blowing. 😁
I usually edit that stuff out but then I realized I love just watching that kind of stuff so I put it at the end after the info so you can skip out or enjoy 😁
GD, that's a fantastic new property you have there. It will be great for you and your family, but for a lawn care afficianado it looks a bit of a nightmare. Leaves, acorns, lack of sunlight, and sketchy soil make for a real challenge.
Can't wait to see how you handle the acorns falling in the fall.
Hook up your Red Max to your Cadet mower. Kill two birds with one stone :)
Striperman, good Tuesday evening to you mate, windy blue sky bird chirping day here heading for 30 max today , how was it your way today?
@@trevormuggeridge4560 Good hump day to you Trevor. Another fine day here. Sun and blue skies as well and the birds are definitely having Spring fever here lol :)
Once you get that place in shape it won't be too bad to keep it up. 👍🏻
Beautiful piece of land you have there, congratulations ! Can’t wait to see the process in this transformation.
Hi Tim....new to the channel and I see you're in RI....I live in the Hope Valley area, where are you....nice to see a local and will be following the project....best of luck
Ahh, a true New England lawn. Hard mode! It will be interesting to see how you tackle the many negative variables in this lawn such as shade, acorns, pine needles/acidic soil. Many youtubers are on perfect little cookie cutter cul-de-sac lots with very little weed pressure, but for many of us this is realty. I'm looking forward to witness the ultimate transformation.
I'm in Maine. My house and yard looks exactly like yours @ 0:28 circa 1960's ranch w/one car garage and about 1,000 sq ft. 3bd/1 bath
You could remove a bunch of the trees and it wouldn't affect the wooded feel of the property. It will increase airflow and the remaining trees will grow healthier. If you are planning tree removals, now would be the time where you can get a bucket truck in there and don't care about ruts in lawn. Very nice lot, can't wait to see the progress.
Yeah I just need to figure out where the shade will be and which trees are dead and need to come down
Have you ever considered getting a cyclone rake?
i have the same blower, same amount of leaves, same amount of acorns, and it took me years to finally figure out that if i put on my crappy lawn mower blades and mulch everything, it makes it faster and easier to blow everything off the lawn and not have a giant pile of leaves. welcome back to UA-cam!
Yeah the initial cleanup I couldn't do that as there were too many. It mulched it into dust that I had to shovel up 😂 but going forward I will be mulching those leaves up!
biggest blower I can afford 😏
My favorite sound 😫
Congrats on the new house!
My eye stayed on that vise👁
Congrats on your purchase. Those trees are going to drive you crazy. Everything else will be a great fun to green up.
You have a lot of work to do. It's going to be beautiful when it's finally done.
My yard is as not big as yours, but I do have several oak trees and pecan trees and getting everything off the lawn is the first thing to do every spring.
I have red max also. I purchased a echo 8010 last fall. Wow it puts the red max to shame. Now echo came out with a 9010.
Look forward to seeing how you transform your new lawn and especially how you deal with potential tree root issues which is a frustration of mine.
what state are you in and grass type are you going with?
Beautiful spot Tim. Looks like RI stone walls. Assume you're still in S County. Good luck!
Get the echo 9010 , most powerful on the market by a large margin
I see Mountain View strongly creeping red fescue in your future.
will it be tough to grow new grass with all those leaves that will fall?
Looks like you need some loam ... lots of loam to freshen up the soil
Great job it looks much better take care my rhodeislamder
Love the RedMax. Life changer !!
You will love those heat pumps. I just ordered a second one this morning!
They are so quiet and cheap to run!
Looking forward to the video on getting rid of mosquitos......lol
Hahaha I'm already killing em!
I’m surrounded by pine and maple trees. Trust me when I say, unless you cut down a significant amount of surrounding trees, you’re going to go crazy with those leaves every season.
Don't forget the moss!
@@robs.8629 absolutely right 😂
First Aussie 😁. Looking forward to seeing your transformation of that ugly lawn.😎👍👍
