Thabang Makwetla questions Jacob Zuma's MK status

ANC NEC member Thabang Makwetla has penned a strongly worded article, slamming former ANC president Jacob Zuma for his association with the newly established Umkhonto WeSizwe party. Makwetla says the MK party is a 'blasphemy to the legacy of the ANC's military wing'.

The reality is that regardless of whether he was or wasn't, people simply adore President Jacob Zuma, and that's what the conflict revolves around. Irrespective of his actions, the man possesses a unique grace that transcends right or wrong. People choose to overlook any wrongdoing and remain steadfast in their love and loyalty towards him. Therefore attempting to tarnish his reputation with negative news will prove futile
