I used to train with Vladimir in Toronto. Sparring with him was the worst beatings of my life and yes I have been in dozens of fights. No-one came even close to the gentle beating he gave.
That's whats crazy. It's a 'gentle' beating. It knocks the tension out of you, and humbles you, like a cat playing with a mouse because you literally can't do anything. But if it were just a bit more strong, you'd be out for the count.
whats so crazy about this is that he doesn't have his spine integrated at all... no pelvic tilt, head and shoulders forward. Yet he's still so damn good. It's like he snap integrates his spine when he goes into certain moves and then stands like whatever when he's not. This baffles my mind deeply, the mastery of it.
Im asking very kindly here: On what base do you argue that hes so damn good? On trainingsexercises like that? Thats a willing partner who has no adrenalin and its a DEMONSTRATION. Im waiting kindly for your answer.
@@TPSTraining I personally trust big enough group of people. If there are martial arts hoax teachers they might be able to run a school or group of students for a long time even if they don't really know anything. But if one actually gathers a wide following, creating an international organisation that grows throughout the decades and teach hundreds of people most of whom are professionally working as bouncers or in security roles, there is no way you are not good. Professional people will find that out in a minute.
@@TPSTraining The partner is not nearly as willing as it may appear. Vlad will match your intensity, it doesn't feel nice when he does. Definitely find a local school, and see for yourself. I was skeptical as well, I went full monty with my teacher the first day, and got my ass beat. The biomechanical tricks they employ are ingenius, and very effective, no doubt.
@@TPSTraining I know I’m 4 years late, but I’ll respond anyways since other people probably are wondering the same. I’ve never met Vladimir, but I’ve met some of his students who do “modern sparring” in their version of Systema and they all credit Vladimir and say he’s legit. You can look up Kevin Secours or Mike Malpass.

Favorite showing of Systema

Try some classes and you'll find out.
