President Joe Biden released a 2-page letter defending his decision to stay in the presidential race. He tells Democrats, "It is time to come together, move forward as a unified party, and defeat Donald Trump." President Biden adds, "The voters of the Democratic Party have voted. They have chosen me to be the nominee of the party." The president also brought up the issue of abortion in his appeal to Democrats, writing, "I have made it clear that if Kamala and I are reelected, and the nation elects a Democratic House and Senate, we will make Roe v. Wade the law of the land again." Correspondent Tara Mergener reports.
