  • This fly is the most productive Puget Sound fly that I know for the Sea-Run Cutthroat trout. just is 3 simple colors and not only does it work here but I have fished in in lakes and done well. check it out its a good all around pattern that should be in your box. this fly is also good for bass, panfish, and carp.

    Nice fly,wonder if a pearl version would work to imitate a small fry/smolt or bait fish ?

      It does. I do tie a full white version of this fly. It works very well.

      The color combos are up to the tiers imagination,also a gray & white would be a great shad version for our local white bass/stripper (whipper) hybrid fish

      David Swart oh definitely. I think myself I tie it in 6 different color combinations. And a grey white would looks good for that.
