11:49 Stewart and Tez Johnson are as talented but Oregon is not targeting Stewart and using him as much as they should so he has not had a break out game yet. They need to do much better in using their weapons. Other than Tez and Sadiq, they don't seem to scheme for anyone else and that is frustrating. Its like Will Stine is limited just to two players at the time.

I agree ohio state is better but I also think autzen stadium is a pretty great advantage. Which is what makes it hard to call
I know home field doesn't account for everything but it certainly matters and it will be quite possibly one of the top 3 toughest environments anyone on this team has ever played. In addition it'll be one of the best home environments if not the best home environment ever boosting the home team in my eyes. I'm 50/50 on the outcome but oregon winning wouldn't surprise given the home environment me nor would losing given Ohio states talent. But let's not forget Oregon isn't bad either, they brought back a lot of talent too and gabriel is a solid qb with lots of experience just like Howard

Ari's analysis of what the Buckeyes did in the offseason to solidify their roster (transfers, returning seniors, transfer QB) describes exactly what the ducks did as well. And Ari , all you are doing is comparing individuals- there is more to it than that- it takes 11 men working together.
The WR rooms between Oregon and Ohio State are much closer than people think. Jeremiah Smith is insanely good (one-handed catches and all), but Tez Johnson breaks DB's ankles on the regular, and Holden + Stewart just outrun them. If Oregon's O-line holds together and doesn't regress to week 1 form, OSU better look out. No one shut down Oregon's offense last year (Washington's pass attack was just that crazy). Turnovers/week 1 jitters notwithstanding, no one's done it this year yet. Hard to stop both the run and the pass at the same time ... SCO DUCKS, Oregon wins 31-27 in an all-time thriller. Let me remind all the Oregon fans how good the team that they are playing this week. OSU is ranked as the best scoring defense and fourth scoring offense. They are top 5 in both pass and rush defense. They have the best red zone offense scoring every time with 20-21 being TDs while having a top 5 red zone defense. They create turnovers just as good as any defense. They also create some of the most explosive plays in the country. So I wouldn’t be to confident as an Oregon fan at the moment.

Buckeye fan here, and I don't think it will be a blowout. I think it will be very close and I am not sure who will win. Pulling for my Buckeyes, but we really haven't played anyone, and Autzen is a very tough environment. Gonna be a battle, and I hope my boys can pull off the W. If they do, it won't be a blowout. I don’t think this game is close. I don’t think Oregon can score more than 21, and don’t think they can hold OSU under 30. Objectively, OSU is better at every position. Oregon needs things to go just perfectly to win, but OSU can win in a dozen different ways.
OSU will be ranked number 1 after this game and will never give up that spot all year.

Ohio state hasn’t even dug into the play book. If you look at their offense nothing jumps off the screen simple zone read runs. Basic passing attack and teams still haven’t had an answer. Two RB1s.. Oregon defense will put on a show against this Ohio State team. There is nothing special about this Ohio State team. Their passing attack is not better than what they had in 2021. Their O line is not better than what they had in 2021. Their running backs are and their safety. The rest of the DB's are not any better than what they had in 2021. Their backers for sure are not better than what they had in 2021. The offensive scheme is better because of Chip, but we know Chip and his misdirection plays and QB runs. Oregon has this!!! This game will surprise everyone. This Ohio State team is not that much better than the 2021 team that went 11-2 with CJ Stroud. Oregon can match the talent in this Ohio State team easily.
