Ohio State fan here! Oregon is good! I’m nervous for this game but it should be a good one! JJ smith may be double teamed so I hope Howard doesn’t try to force it to him! I think the key to this game is Carnell Tate! He’s been sneaky quiet and he’s good! It’ll be a good one!!

I personally think the difference in this game is gonna be who’s been tested more in different game time scenarios. I’m gonna have to give the edge to our Ducks for that. 😎 the fact that we’ve had close games, have ran 2 minute drill to get down the field and kick a GW field goal, the fact that we’ve had multiple players start at different positions and are versatile within our O/D… just think we are better prepared
I disagree. They have shown more weaknesses and have struggled to beat average teams. Ohio State hasn't been truly tested, but also hasn't shown weaknesses against average teams. Ohio State is a more disciplined team I think.

Game of the week right here. I like Oregon. They’ll be able to handle OSU in the trenches and they have the superior QB in Gabriel who has played in big games before. @@wyattreed3396 Howard has played in big games sure but he’s never been the lead catalyst for his team in big games like Dillon Gabriel has. I think Oregon and Ohio State are closer in talent than a lot of people think. Many want OSU to be this overwhelming juggernaut but outside of terrible Big 10 competition, they always underachieve to me. I’d love to be wrong and Howard balls out, but I think this is Oregons game to be had

The issue here for OSU is that in the new Big 10 with the new west coast teams, the teams that travel from the west coast to the eastern teams and from the eastern teams to the west coast are 2-9 in favor of the home team so far. The long travel so far has been bad for the away teams

Iowa is not a better team than Boise state this year, that’s widely accepted amongst CFP “experts”. Oregon already faced the best running back in the nation, when the ducks were still struggling to find cohesion on the O line. Remember how much Ohio state was favored in the shoe in 2021!… GO DUCKS!!!

I'm a Buckeye - but not blinded by it. If my perception is accurate however - w/o bias - I still see OSU winning this game in an overwhelming fashion ? All due respect to Oregon - but they have a recently acquired collection of talent - going against a brotherhood of 4th 5th & 6th year players - all on the same page !!! = A team on a mission - unselfish and focused on the end game. - - - OSU 31 --- OREGON 21 Jim Knowles & Chip Kelly will simply be too much.
Oregon did better against a Michigan state team with 1 more week of preparation. That says something.

This will be a good game no doubt. I think you will see a close first half, like 14-10 OSU at the half, then OSU pulls away a bit in the second half to win with a final of 34-17, maybe 38-17. I just think the run game will be the difference, with OSU defense holding against Oregon's Jordan James and the OSU backs in Judkins and Henderson getting behind their line and running strong.
Duck fan here. You are probably close to accurate based on the points that you are making. Wish it could be different but Oregon's early season struggles, especially with the O-Line, are genuinely concerning. Sure, they are undefeated but wins are far from impressive given the competition. Autzen will make a bit of a difference and the cross-country travel can't be a positive for OSU but at this stage in the season, OSU look to be a more solid team that should enable them to override those negatives. With that said, I hope that the Ducks play to their potential and make it a competitive game.
@@Gaijinthecat You never know, Oregon could do better in the end. People keep saying Iowa wasn't a true threat to and OSU and that's true. But, people also forget that OSU put up over 400 yards of total offense against the Iowa defense. The last time Iowa gave up 400 yards of offense was the 2021 Big Ten championship against Michigan, and that game was very similar with a close first half, then runaway second half. Now obviously Oregon's offense is way more talented then Iowa and they have the homefield advantage, but if they come out flat on either side of ball like they did against Oregon State or Michigan State, that would be a bad sign for them.
The last time they played Oregon ran it down their throats with over 200 yards rushing and this team Is better on both sides of the ball. Have you ever been to a game at Autzen stadium?

One truth that we all know is real: "DISRESPECT AND PLAY DOWN TO YOUR OPPONENT AT YOUR PERIL" Last time Oregon played Ohio State, OSU made this mistake, in my opinion, and by the time that OSU realized that they had a fight on their hands, it was too late. I don't expect them to make the same mistake on Saturday, BUT we see the same mistake being made by teams every week (see Alabama - Vandy. We'll know soon enough.
