9:15 The shear difference between your first and second run, I love how aggressive you came out and took those first few corners! You got yourself a loyal new subscribe today, I have been LOVING catching up with this project!
Brian love the driving skills. Only wish we get that many runs on the track on west coast. Your lucky if you get 3-4 runs in not enough seat time. 👍 loving this channel.
I am glad I came across this vid! I plan on picking up an eg. would love to try autocross. you did great! love the Intial D reference I was smiling the whole time! keep it up bro! what's ur set up?
Haha thank you! The setup is rather simple really. It’s all focused on handling and driver development. Stock GSR motor with LSD trans. Full spherical suspension with geometry correction all around. Single adjustable coilovers, sway bars, etc. If you want to see the build a little more in depth, check out my very first and second time-lapse videos I posted.
It's definitely a learning process! The important thing is analyzing where you can improve and finding where the car is most efficient. As you can see with each "lap", a change or two was made in gearing, braking, lifting, turn in, etc.. That's why this stuff is so fun! The hunt for faster times!
It was more for wheel to suspension component(s) clearance. Without the spacer, the rear wheel was a credit card thickness away from contacting the trailing arm. Up front I might have had a 1/4” from wheel to knuckle.
Yeah it looked like your hand position on the steering wheel was improving on the first run you were crossing your arm's on the turns which I believe to be a rookie mistake
I know you could do better, you just need to learn your car and be comfortable with it. And keep those engines at higher rpms, you were losing so much momentum in turns.
Siiiiiiick skills you got there on that spin out!! 😝😝😝😝😝😘
Initial D clips lmao good stuff.
Haha, thanks for watching!

Glad you like the videos! Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
Looks like a pretty serious racecar
Lots of stuff, but pretty basic at the end of the day. Very simple setup!
Awesome track day. Glad to see your build out on the track. Can’t wait to build a track car.
JC Risen Thanks! It’s hard work, but definitely worth it!
Great driving man , just seen in ur recent video that you installed a 4.9 that's gonna really keep you on it ! Great video !
Thank you! Yes, that 4.9 is going to make a world of a difference!
Awesome!!! Lucky to have that 45mins from you
I appreciate the watch!

Honestly, I thought 8 runs wasn’t enough! Lol

Keep it up bro. Love the eg.
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Not bad for the first time, looking good out there. Looks like the shifter had alot of play in it. Keep it up dude
I’ve got solid shifter bushings, so the play that you see is from the linkage to trans... it’s not the worst so I can deal with it for now haha
@@bvspeed oh ok lol
Great content my man 🔥 I like the channel 👌
Much appreciated!
Do you have the OEM si rack? Im looking for a better rack for my CX.
I'm usually pretty on top of comments, but somehow I missed this! I have an Integra power rack. It has a better ratio.
Glad you stayed in 2nd that hurt me watching you carry too much speed and being super low rpm thru that middle part. Good job!

Thinking of gutting my coupe. How noisy is the drive?
VERY noisy. If it's your daily, I'd recommend NOT to. This is a track only car.
bvspeed ok thanks. Not my daily but I won’t track it often enough to warrant the noise.
What’s the rim specs and tire size?
15x8 +35, 225/45R15, 8mm spacers
Are the spacers necessary? Rims don’t clear calipers or something?

Always improving!
Total cost?
It would take me forever to add up all the receipts, but if I had to guess... I’m probably somewhere between $15-18k deep into it.
I know you could do better, you just need to learn your car and be comfortable with it. And keep those engines at higher rpms, you were losing so much momentum in turns.
I agree! More seat time is all I need!
@@bvspeed Yes! You would probably get used to it! Btw, we have the same exact car lol
That’s awesome! Love the EG!
