I’ve been using the Isntree Bifida Ampoule for a year now and it’s amazing on the skin! I’m 48 and my skin was getting dryer and less full and vibrant. I added it after watering Penn Smith video on dupes. I have kept it in my routine ever since. One of the best additions I’ve made to my skincare routine 🎉
Yay your video made my day 😊 thx alot for comparing these products! I just got a sample of the Genifique Serum in my order yesterday and can't wait to try it because I've been lingering around this product for years 🤣 also I want to test the dupe as well 🥰 Have a lovely week! PS: Cats are the best 🐈😊
Congratulations, and thank you for doing the work! Thank goodness for the internet so that we now can investigate what is actually in the products that we use! And now that we have that knowledge we can do the research and find products that are cheaper and work more efficient!
I've probably spent a thousand dollars on it over the years and don't regret a cent of it, so it's OK! It's still a great product =D Here's to your face loving it because if it does, you'll know bifida is a good road to go on!
Hi Shelley i've used the Isntree and like it, but I like the Benton fermentation essence a bit more and it has a few different fermented ingredients. Although it's an "essence" I use it as a serum and you get about 100mls in the bottle. The eye cream btw is also excellent. There are quite a few fermented ingredient products in K beauty - it's an ingredient they've used for years and years in skincare and you tend to find it in higher concentrations than here in the West eg Lancome genefique and EL night repair. I personally can't use the lancome version as my rosacea hates it, but I know a lot of people love it. Best wishes.
Hi Loraine! I think my skin is really liking the fermented ingredients. I've had good luck with other Benton products - I'll have to check out their fermentation essence! Thanks!
Glad it worked out and boop to Ziva I just started a bifida product last night - I got the MARY & MAY - Vitamin B5 + Bifida Toner. Its an interesting texture.. thicker than water, with a bit of a slip to it. Didnt irritate my rosacea so thats good. I will add that serum you found to my list to check out
But is it as beautiful and enjoyable to use the cheap 22.00 serum? I love the Genefique! And its silky, makes you feel wonderful using it and looks gorgeous in your bathroom💜 🐈⬛. As an Esthetician, I’ve used tons of skincare lines over the past 40 years, I always go back to Lancome👍
Have you tried the Missha Time Revolution serum? That has the same ingredient and is usually about $30 on YesStyle. I’ve used it in the past and really liked it. Haven’t tried this dupe yet, will def check it out! (Edit: the Missha is not a serum, it’s an ampoule)
Where do you live?! I worked for lancome for nearly 4 years and it was only close to that price when I first started with the brand! I need to order from where you are! I no longer work for the brand but I still LOOOOOOOOOOVE the products! The new company president is an idiot. He changed teint Idole ultra wear 🙄 but what you have is what I call ”THE BIG BOY” and I would love to get it for $115
I'm guessing I got this bottle in Ireland last summer (I don't think I've ever bought the big one at home in the states) - though I could have also picked the wrong size when looking online (I usually use Sephora prices in my links).
Nice find! Manyo Factory has a bifida mist I am going to try. It has some other good stuff in it and I need a mist right now. I am going to add this to my list though because I need to re-evaluate my serums soon.
Yes!!! I'm still using it!! And I've seen no "loss" of anything in my skin, so I take that to mean, it was indeed the bifida that was beneficial to me, and the Isntree version is providing it sufficiently. It's still my daily morning and evening serum.
Hello! I looked at this product also as a dupe for Estée Lauder ANR. Sadly, they added niacinamide to the mix, which makes it a no for me. Otherwise, the active ingredients are really similar. You look great whatever it is!
I was doing some Black Friday shopping when I saw your video that mentioned the Isntree Bifida Ampoule and wanted to try it. Then I came across a sample for the Lancome Génifique Concentrate and now I'm going to do a little experiment to see how the products differ. (dry, dehydrated sensitive skin with intermittent red cheeks). Something I'll be trying after the Holidays in case my skin doesn't agree and gets angry. lol But still excited to try!
Lots of smiling from me during this video, Shelly, thank you! I'm a fan of Penny's skincare channel, too, and snagged the Isntree product; it's really a great product at a great price. And I'm in total agreement with a previous poster, @Grace Case, why wouldn't the camera focus on Ziva, the camera loves her!
Sweet Miss Z behind you. She has such a beautiful face. The dupe product sounds great. I definitely see a difference on the left side of your face. In what order would you add this serum? Is it used at night or morning? I've not tried either. Right now, I'm trialing The Inkey List Tranexamic Acid Serum for hyperpigmentation. It's only been about 3 weeks. I'll let you know how it's working. Thanks, Shelly. ❤❤
I'm using it morning and night on the nights I don't use my tretinoin. I do it after cleansing and toner (if I use a toner), before eye cream/moisturizer/sunscreen.
@@goow got it. I'd probably only be able to use it in the morning, since I use the Tretinoin every night. Then again, I use a few other serums with the Tretinoin. Thanks, Shelly. 😊
$35 for the Isntree product vs $145 for the Lancome Genifique here in Canada and you are telling me works just as well or even better???? I know what I am purchasing as a Christmas present to myself, lol
This is my first time using alpha arbutin (whereas I've been using Vitamin C primarily as l-ascorbic acid for years) and I saw noticeable fading with the alpha arbutin - so at least with this limited amount of use I think I'm seeing great results with the AA. I won't abandon vitamin C though. I'll rotate both.
I love your videos!!! Could you find a dupe for YouthBomb. I love this product. changed my skin completely. I`am getting close to the end of my bottle. I bought this bottle on a promotion 50.00. to purchase again over 100.00 plus you have to join membership. Product is wonderful. I`am retired can not afford the going price. Thanks if you can help. Love your cats!!!
I haven't tried YouthBomb yet but it looks like it's primarily a peptide serum, which isn't uncommon. It does have some soothing extracts that might not be in other peptide serums, but my guess is the biggest bang is from the peptides. I can't find anything that's quite similar in ingredients but it's new enough that other brands might not have formulated a competitor yet, but with the buzz it gets online, my guess is it's only a matter of time.

I just finished up my bottle - I need to reorder! I'm definitely sticking with the Isntree.

I love that Kitty wants to be involved too 😺😻
She always gets her 5 minutes of fame =D

My timing is horrible. I just bought a 2 pack of Genefique after waiting years to try it. Lol. Hi Zeva! 💕💕💕💕

Happy to hear the isntree worked out!!
Nice Video!!❤
Omg your fuzzy friend, so cute 🍂♥️, and yes, excitement over Lancôme genefique dupe!!! Thank you Shelly
I recently started using the Isntree serum and love it.
I too love the Isntree bifida ampoule. I'm also using the C-niacin toning cream + it definitely has a brightening effect, at least for me.

I'm about 2/3 through the dupe bottle right now - so far my plan is to repurchase the dupe but I will keep you posted!
Those makeup products are so awesome!!
Just subscribed and never do it on just a gut feeling like I am now?! I am looking forward to checking out this channel!
Welcome, Paula!!
Thank you so much!
Ahh I love a good skincare dupe video!! 🙌✨

(Edit: the Missha is not a serum, it’s an ampoule)
I use the Missha time revolution serum but mine is the serum. Love it.
@@Cornwall3 I think I’ve used both… not sure what the difference is lol, I just checked the last time I bought it and it said ampoule 😂
@@KG9551 the night repair serum is what I use so maybe it’s different but has the same active ingredient. It’s only $17 and change on Amazon.
Who can blame the camera…I want to focus on Ziva, too!
😹😹😹

FINALLY! Someone who agrees that new changed formula of Teint Idole Foundation is trash! Ughh I have 2 bottles of the old version left.

Oh thanks for sharing! Went to the website to read more on it and it's currently on sale for $17.70! Woohoo!
I love a good sale!!
So a year later is it still working well? I just started using it today and am hopeful 😎
Yes!!! I'm still using it!! And I've seen no "loss" of anything in my skin, so I take that to mean, it was indeed the bifida that was beneficial to me, and the Isntree version is providing it sufficiently. It's still my daily morning and evening serum.
@@goowgood to know! I just started. Wasn’t sure if I should use AM & PM so thank you! Oh and love the kitties!
Ziva is adorable x
I have the time revolution ampoule from Missha-they say it’s a close dupe for Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair- and I am impressed
The Isntree ampuole serum is 75% off right now! So I grabbed 2, plus some other items to try.
I use Benton’s fermentation essence. Another Korean product that features bifida lysate.
I need to try their version too!
Stock up on the Bifida Serum on Yes Style- it’s on sale 40% off right now!!!! Only $17.70
Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks for the heads up!!!!

It’s on sale for 40% off! Plus I got to use my YS points towards the purchase, so my grand total was only about $10, including S&H!
SCORE!!!!

Yes I use either of these as the first thing after cleansing.

It's absolutely worth a shot! The concentration of bifida is higher, too!
I think L'oreal Youth Code serum is supposed to be somewhat of a dupe for the Lancome.
What was the name of the site you found the recommendation? Pen skincare?
Here's her channel link! ua-cam.com/users/PENNSMITHSKINCARE
Ziva: Mom, who are you talking to? I'm just not into serums for some dumb reason. Too many steps I guess. I have used the Lancome serum.
Thank you
I don't remember or not...do you use Tretinoin? It's helped a lot over the years with my discoloration/age spots. (and wrinkles)
I do in the evenings through Curology!
What was the account you referenced?
Which one you think more potent Vit C or alpha Arbutin? Xx cheers

Lancôme PACKAGING Makes you think you have more in the bottle. Eye trick.
Same with L'Oreal.
The Genefique doubled its price in less than 6 months
A reallyyyy good serum, but at this rate?!? 100 £ for 50 ml!?!? Too much
