For my own songs I usually spend ages in garageband rerecording everything but this has made me realise even simple and short projects can sound amazing. Thank you.
You know I love really techincal knowledge when it comes to creating this stuff but I love how you followed your feeling and vibe of the music lead you
@@MilesLargeTV as it should be. I was never involved n anything big but I was in a band for a bit and we wrote about 13 original songs and I really loved the creative process and the mixing etc it's a lot of fun but just doing what feels good vs "it should sound like this" there is so much over production in music these days that is just loses all feeling.
great turtorial, as u used molchat doma in the thumbnail what they use for their leads often is a vibrato wich has a really klingy sound to it, keep goin man!
As an aging goth, I can say being scared of goth females is silly. They're pretty cool in my experience. That's an excellent effort there. Elements of Joy Division, the Cure and a bit of Sisters of Mercy thrown in for flavor.
50 year old goth post/punk musician here. First off goth women are the sexiest women on the planet and most have a killer sense of humor……secondly…….Great track! Lol! Paint a vivid picture of the club😂
For someone who doesnt know much about the genre, you hit a lot of the tropes! Echoing the Joy Division shout of another comment. Vocals were pretty Ian Curtis. Good work!
Not the way you do more than me when making the post punk music, you’re a true artist here 😭. Tbh I don’t think post punk is a subgenre of goth because of how diverse it is, it mixes so many elements that to me it feels more like a genre itself with its own subgeneres. Instrumental reminds me a bit of bands I myself listen to, I just don’t like the vocals too much (most likely because I’m not used to them, I’m pretty picky, so no hard feelings Xd)
Lmao thanks! And yeah I mean I truly know nothing when it comes to those genres and post punk as well I just made something I thought might sound within the realm of that, which I guess according to the comments was fairly a success!
@@MilesLargeTV It's more the other way around that gothic rock is a subgenre of post punk and post punk has many different forms (some of which are not necessarily dark at all, but some are even lighthearted and goofy) but the lyrics in this were hilarious and for someone who isn't familiar with the style you made a pretty bangin track
People showing how they record songs is my favourite thing ever
Haha I hope you enjoyed!
My father is a musician and I love watching him work lol
Same! It's so cool and informative

Yeah anytime!! I think it’s important to do stuff like this once in a while just to fool around and experiment and not take it super seriously!
Love to see longform Miles back (Also can’t wait for the hundreds of shorts he’s gonna make of clips from this vid)

Appreciate it!! Yeah more than anything it was more just a joke to grab the viewer's attention haha
@@MilesLargeTV you've definitely got production skills. Gonna try industrial?
I'm not sure, but I'd definitely like to explore other genres I'm unfamiliar with and make more content like this!
@@MilesLargeTVif you're interested in exploring the genre, Skinny Puppy, early Ministry, NIN and Front 242.

Bro made a Martha and the muffins/a flock of seagulls collab 😂
kinda reminds me of megaman x for some reason
this is sick. you should try alt rock like the arctic monkeys or the killers!
Not the Takemi in the thumbnail
Sounds really great, like some Joy Division or The Smiths on maximum overdrive. Honestly great
Appreciate that, thank you!!
