I’ve had Thai-Chinese landlords that I rented my condos from in Pattaya. I never received my full deposit back despite I left the place perfectly on order and clean. ( They’ll make up an excuse to keep the deposit). Good to rent from a reasonable Westerner.)

Hey Heath, I really liked your first vid on the View Debut this one is even better. I'm in the middle of the USA and after seeing your first and then having the answer from you about market prices I was betting busy with the things that are necessary for international travel. Then I heard that the Thai Gov. was instituting new tourist regulations, then easing a bit, then another change, etc.etc. I am unjabbed and intend to stay that way, so when I see the various rules on and off and up and down, then I notice all of the masks on folk, in the clips around Pattaya and BKK, I realize that I would probably get crosswise with the authorities. But keep up the great work of showing the side of Pattaya that isn't a bar. Your eye for what is of real interest is fantastic. Thank you.
Thanks for the kind comment. Yes, the U-turn regarding jab requirements did cause some confusion. However, keep in mind that many Thais (especially in BKK) wore masks before Covid, so I imagine they will continue to do so. At this time (12/01/23) you do not need to show proof of being vaccinated to enter the kingdom. Thanks again. 👍
I remember watching him do that record, think he might of done one for squat thrusts, but that could of just been on superstars, i was around seven or eight. Such a humble person for someone who was such a big star. Thanks, Simon. One month. 👍
No minimum Time as long as you like
Sorry about the misspelling. I'm planning to do a one year Thai language course with ABC at Pattaya. Brian's email would be useful for further enquiries. Thx
If you contact me via my website at heathwoodward.com, I will be able to forward you his email. I do not put emails public as it attracts spammers. Thanks. 😎
This is kinda far out location. How long to get to central pattaya and is the bus near by?
A Bolt taxi is your best option. Takes about 25 minutes to get to Pattaya.
You don't mention the restaurant that is there is it still closed down
Hi Mr Micky. The restaurant closed before Covid so I never mentioned it. It has reopened at a location about 50 metres away. It's now called Som's Kitchen.
Hi Heath new follower here, can i ask Where your place is now unless i have missed it.Thanks

Check with your local bank as they may offer travel insurance for short trips.
Does the condo available for a S Korean retiree ?
Wouldn't be a problem. 👍
@@fromoneendofthailand Thank you for this fast response, Sir. I, a 1st dan, Black belt, had a feeling that the place has the atmosphere of a judo dojo.
Would like to stay and play lots of golf with like minded holidaymakers
Heath thanks for all the info. Would love to stay in the place Brian owns. Dies he have a fb account or anything?
You're very welcome, Rachel. I think the View Dee has a FB page but I am not sure if it is monitored these days. The best way would be to give Brian a call. The number is in the description. Thanks again. 👍
@@fromoneendofthailand Thank You very much
Assume they are reasonable but what is the unit rates for electricity and water he's charging? Assume they are not the government rates.
Slightly higher. Not sure on the exact rates but you will find unless you leave the aircon on 24/7, it will be about 800 baht per month.
@@fromoneendofthailand Not sure that really helps but thanks anyway.
This place looks lovely, do any women stay here?
Some expats and visitors live with their Thai partners there. Not many single western women would choose to live on the darkside when visiting Pattaya.
Maybe I should rephrase that 🤔. Women are most welcome there but it does seem to have mostly male residents.
Well done and said .. What a great guy ~~~
Me or Brian? Ha ha, just joking. Thanks, John.
Thanks John look forward to meeting you at some time
The scooter Brian rents out for 1400 baht a month. What model, brand and engine capacity is it?
Sorry, I do not know the details of the bikes.
I just left a message on Facebook to Brian for a stay in middle of the year for a month
but correct me if i'm wrong guys, when you say X amount a month, that is actually X amount a month for a year right ? but if it's just for a month only then it's more expensive right ?
You can book for one month and it will be the same price as if you stay longer.
@@fromoneendofthailand cheers good to know, much appreciated guys
Can u explain , what is the dark side ?
Years ago there were no street lights in this area. They have them now of course. 😎

There's a few areas for cycling. ua-cam.com/video/bNguFycXvRE/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/CkTYF2UY2e4/v-deo.html
I cycle around Maprachan lake which is just 2 k from the appartments and its 10k around the cycle track
Is there a Muay Thai gym near by?
I do not know if there is one in that area but they is a standard gym within a 2-minute walk. They is a Muay Thai gym in nearby Jomtien. See here ua-cam.com/video/-16B9tn9adM/v-deo.html
