Number one tip: don't underestimate your desire for a long-term partner. A lot of guys come over (usually after a painful breakup back home) and think they will enjoy getting with as many different women as possible, but very quickly discover that they actually want a serious relationship. However, Pattaya is perhaps the worst place in the world to look for one!

I agree you can find girl friend or wife but you have to live in Bangkok or some other non touristy town, and try to find educated girl with normal job not bar girl but also you have to be in your fourthies or under if you want a younger one or someone your age. Unless your are rich then the age would not matter so they say but it would not last in long run as we all know.but as long as you keep the ATM machine open she will stay with you until you run out of money or she finds another rich men when you are our of town.

@mcelmar1234 Agree with your comment. I find it interesting that many men say they want/enjoy the girlfriend experience, but when they get it, they think it is real.

I've mentioned this before, but this industry has been around for over 40 years. It's reminiscent of the towns in Norway, where each year, schools of whales are herded into an inlet and slaughtered by the locals. In Pattaya, punters are drawn in, and lured by social media, and end up despairing on a lonely high-rise balcony.

Great video Daz!! I completely agree. I retired from the US Air Force 3 months ago and the biggest obstacles for me is patience. Ppl just go with no plan and it drives me nuts lol but if u can overcome the soft heart out here you'll be ok... don't recommend it for guys that aren't use to beautiful girls. Hi Daz,
I’ve been here for 6 weeks now, and I might stay for 6 more months-maybe even longer. Every single word you say is 100% true. All your videos, all the stories-everything is spot on. I’ve got a lot of my own stories now, and it’s just nuts. I’m 33, and so far, I’m having the best time of my life.
I do, as you say, have a heart of stone. I also never meet anybody more than 1-3 times. Everyone will feel something at some point; you just have to move on as soon as you do.

Another fantastic video, Daz. What men (myself included) need to understand, Thai ladies in the "Services" industry are going to treat you 2-3 times better than any woman has every treated you in all the ways that make men feel like men. It is the stuff of legends. I went to Patts as a seasoned traveler (Age 45) that had been extremely successful with western ladies in my personal life. I had never ever experienced the type of love, affection, and just genuine connection with my masculine self until I encountered Thai ladies in the service industry. If it hadn't been for Daz's videos and a few boots on the ground veterans that snapped me out of it, I would have been lost in the sauce. It is a total fantasy that is blissful and sensational. Keep it as a fantasy...no matter how real it feels. Much easier said than done 555

I really don't understand men who need commitment. I feel like a man's nature is to have lots of partners, not just be tied down, it's been a struggle my whole life to just exist with so many thinking they need commitments.

In pattaya you can still get girls freelancers for about 1000 Baht for short time but the average price is about 1500 baht. Don't rush into getting a girlfriend just have fun. Fun is much cheaper than getting involved with the wrong girl. For the Thirsty guys I recommend get Freelancers for fun only. The guys that are not thirsty take your time and find the right girl. Remember you are the prize. Recommend go to the gym and get yourself in shape, bathe everyday, dress clean. There are many women that are beautiful that run their own small businesses. They are not rich but they do their own gigs.

Sage advice. One word - “Control” This is not a holiday, have a plan B - Because one day one one reason or another you ARE going home. So ideally have a property back there that you can let with a reliable income stream. Consider the effect of inflation, currency fluctuation, and above all the ongoing long term cost of healthcare. I lived in Pratumnak initially for 12 months, and what I learned before committing
long term was priceless. Upfront you’ll need a minimum of $6500. No point coming here to merely exist, Thailand is all about living. Budget for a Minimum of $2500 monthly including rent. Spend your money on somewhere nice to live, wake up to something great to look at. As for Thai Women, just beautiful. But like Second hand motors - There’s always another one, just around the corner.! 🙂

Its doing my head in now what's happening with the plane it's been painted and has a set of sturdy steps up to it, is it going to be a restaurant or coffee shop like they have in Bangkok and the coffee shop outside Pattaya.
I have 4 more years at the end of April before i can retire to Thailand but i would be doing baby steps go for a month then go for 3 months then hopefully finally settling down permanently after that, im used to the heat i have lived in Saudi Arabia, Libya ,Cyprus and Kenya for many years when my dad was in the British army and whilst i was in the British army as well, the art is don't go out in the midday sun and stay in the shade as much as possible whilst you are out great advice i have seen these grumpy old ex pat's sitting in a bar at 11am and not leaving until the sun goes down and thats 7 days a week me personally i wouldn't live in Pattaya i would go to a part of Thailand were there is a small percentage of ex pats who don't sit in a bar they have hobbies and live there lives to the fullest Pattaya is a holiday destination which i would still go to 3-4 times a year.

Cheers Daz, thank you for sharing but if were to see 3-4 Gicks a week and taking the them out to an inexpensive Thai dinner and beers and movie, how much you think that would run a guy? Including giving them some cash say a 1,000 baht each girl , maybe 4,000 baht weekly , you think 8,000 baht weekly total would cover that kind of situation ?or less?

You don't see 3 or 4 every week, you spread them over 2 weeks, Control Yourself or you will spend too much

Yes in pattaya i think that its not the same going on vacation than living in the hot spot, the hot girls might be a challenge but got to be careful dont get broke to go back its no the dream also i was thinking that the idea it is if you live there going out for 2 or 3 nights few drinks and girls but the idea it is to look for 3 or 5 women friends with mutual benefit that will be more helpful to spend less also got to learn the language,go to the gym, muay thai class, music, thai footbal league, learn more about buddhism🙏❤️🇹🇭life will be great😸😂

Its called common sense. Most bar girls are ok. Just don't get a greedy one. Always try to live on your income not your savings. Thai women in general are good.....but always remember the age gap. It can be great fun for us old geezers! Don't get carried away though😊

Serious question for you Daz. I know about how old you are so at your age could you clarify to the listeners/subscribers whether you pay your Gigs for their company (or buy them something of reasonable value) as compensation for spending time with you? My take is that almost all blokes over 40 will have to pay at least a little to a reasonably attrqctive Gig that is under 35. Is this correct in your experience? Its important info that should be included in the vlog.

    • @everythingPattaya
      @everythingPattaya  Місяць тому

Yes, that's correct, the only guys who can get away without paying are young, fit, handsome who are good fun to be with. The last one is just as important to Thai girls as the former, it's all about having fun.

I love Thailand but I don't have a pension social Security or online money. Therefore it's looking like Laos is the best place because you can pay like $600 for a year in Laos and the people from Thailand can come there and you can go to Thailand unlimited for that amount of time.

Don’t get attached to anyone, bar girls are small time hustlers , when love is mentioned you going to get wiped out by a big time hustler . You want a friend buy a dog or make friends with another mate. All you are is a $ sign to “every single woman” period don’t buy into the “Love Dream Pitch”, that’s a suckers game
